A View On IIT Una

Remarks :

Cse 2023-2027 I found this application form in a WhatsApp group Yeah reservation had availed me benefits as I had got cse on an ece rank Yeah the fee submission should be in pure cash too as people find many problems

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course as I love coding a lot Faculty-student ratio at the Indian Institute of Information Technology is quite good The faculty are well qualified and phd holders and they are very good The exams are quite good and hard to crack

Internships Opportunities :

In the third semester, we were given internship leave in which many students used this opportunity to gain new skillsand learnn about management and apply its learning. I am in 1st year so right now I have no internship but I will grab one...

Placement Experience :

campus placement is eligible for 4th-year students. last time amazon offered to 10 students in our college had highest placement of 60 lpa whereas 15 lpa is average. around 90% of students overall get placed. after getting the degree I had a plan for a job

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fee structure of iiit una and every other iiit is quite high and the sad thing is that they don't even have some kind of fee relief for the students of reservation or an economic backwards section. there is no scholarship yet companies visit there and we have campus jobs . yet iiit need to apply for the scholarship section.

Campus Life :

life at the campus is awesome we have Meraki (tech fest) yalgaar (sports fest) mridang (cultural fest) and a lot of students take part in it it is conducted between October There is a library in which we get most of our books related to course. sports culture and amenities are also well. There are alot of social and tech clubs organised and run by the students like Avesh Eunoia Force and pixcel

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have a keen interest in computer programming so I chose this course in this college instead of other NITs. Here the faculty-student ratio id pretty good It's approximately 15:1. All the Faculty are PHD holders. They are young and have a passion for teaching. There are 2 CT exams which constitute the mid sem and one end sem also occurs. You have to study daily. There is regular assignment and projects given to students

Students get eligible for placements in 3rd year itself. The companies visited are Amazon, fantaclaus, etc. The highest package last year was 50 lakhs (off campus) by Amazon and the mean package was 6.5 lpa. 289 students have been placed in the last 5 years which makes 86%. My plan after getting the degree is to obviously get placed in a good company with a good package.

There is an internship semester in our college dedicated to internships where students have to do 5 months of internship (compulsory) to get their hands on on fieldwork and learn from industry experts. Amazon, Deloitte and many big companies like these visit our college during the placement drive The average package of all the branches combined was 15 LPA which is quite good and is expected to improve further in the coming years. Almost 90+ per cent of students get placed.
