dtu in my way

Remarks :

You need to clear jee mains to get admission. You can find the form on the Jac Delhi counseling website. There are 15% seats outside Delhi and 85% for Delhi students. The admission process should be online type.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course as I want to get a good job and learn coding. I think the faculty: student ratio is good about 50 students per faculty. Faculties are well educated as some are from IITS and some also from foreign universities. After the sem begins there is mid-sem after 1.5 months and then after 1 month, there is an end sem exam.

Internships Opportunities :

Some of the companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart, and many more for internships. Most of the companies offer sde roles and you need to be good in dsa coding skills to get a job or internship in these tech companies.

Placement Experience :

I have heard of placements as good because of the reputation of the college and there is a recession this year that's why there are fewer offers but I think for next year it is going to be good. There are Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Oracle, Flipkart, Amazon, and many more. 24 lakhs is an average package for our branch and the highest package was an international package of almost 1.3 cr. Most probably I will do the job for 1 year and then find something else to do.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is almost a 5% percent hike in fees every year and mess fees are almost the same. I didn't get any type of scholarship and no financial assistance and next year I will get a job most probably as there is placement season.

Campus Life :

Engifest is the biggest fest of our college and there are tons of tech-fest in frequent months and most fests are conducted when the new admission happens. There is a library for books and stuff and there are shops around the college to get books and stationary things. The classroom is well constructed as there is a full AC projector and cushioned seats. There are many societies for extracurricular activities and for every sport there are facilities.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facility is not that good as the rent is high but the hostel has not so popular or fancy facilities. The mess is overall good and the menu is quite average. There is a portal for hostel registration. you can find a PG or flat within 100 meters from the college as well with all the facilities.

Placement Experience:

In this competitive era, preparing yourself for campus placements is the most pivotal part of education. Earlier, most of the students ignored the significance of the campus placements and waved goodbye to the opportunities of getting selected by the company. But now, every year, you can observe hundreds of students taking active participation in the campus placement process. One of the advantages of campus recruitment is the assurance of stable job profiles in reputed companies. In India, the majority of campus recruitment companies often lower their hiring criteria for entry-level employment. However, if you are applying through an Off-campus or Pool campus placement drive. In that case, there’s much more than technical knowledge required to clear the interview as the scale of competition increases.
