Enroll and Succeed

Remarks :

You need to take PCB in classes 11 and 12 and then qualify for NEET-UG to be eligible for a seat in Govt. Medical College. NTA provides all the details regarding the admission process. Reservation for OBC ,SC,ST, EWS is present and students can avail it if they have the required documents. The admission process was efficient and smooth in our college, I don't see any need for improvement in this sector.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I aspired to be a doctor since class 12 and studied hard to get a seat in a govt. medical college. There are many teachers in each department. Teachers are divided into practical classes also so the overall faculty: student ratio is very good(1:10). There are some teachers in our college who have studied at esteemed colleges like AIIMS Delhi, PGIMER, etc. and they excel in their fields. The exams are held timely. The tests are medium level and the pass percentage is high.

Internships Opportunities :

We get internship opportunities in our college for one year with a high stipend. We need to take the NEET PG exam after the internship to get admission for MD / MS courses. We get to learn many new things during internship.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

With a fee of Rs.4500 per semester, it is one of the cheapest colleges in our country. Apart from the bone set and some books, the cost to study is very low compared to other colleges. The students facing financial problems get the opportunity for many scholarships so that they can study with ease. During the internship, we get a stipend of around Rs.30,000 per month.

Campus Life :

Campus life is excellent, apart from studies we get to enjoy ourselves a lot during our free time. Since the college is located in Kolkata we can travel and explore lots of places. LOBELIA is the main fest of our college which is the best fest in Eastern India.Eminent celebrities like Sonu Nigam, Ash king Farhan Akhtar has already been a part of the fest. Apart from this, we have Freshers, Annual academic fest, and many more. We have a huge library that provides books on all subjects, we can keep the books in our home for reference study and also We have gym facilities, sports facilities also cultural events are held regularly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the MBBS course as I wanted to be a doctor and I have to do this course to be one. our total no. Of students is 250 and our student-to-faculty ratio is close to 30:1. The faculty members are really experienced in their own respective fields. The professional exams and semesters are a little difficult but you can pass easily by studying consistently for 3-4 hours a day. In the 5 years of MBBS, you will have 4 professional exams at the end of the year and 9 semesters.
