Remarks :
I took the NEET examination and every year a lot and lot of students go through immense pressure to get admitted to a medical college. The admission process was vast and every information regarding the process was uploaded to the WBHUS website. Every piece of information was given and according to the marks obtained in neet, we got assigned to the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was always a chaotic person and doctors don't have peace in their life. So that's why I chose mbbs. The faculty is well qualified to teach but they are not motivated to teach each and every 250 students. So the teaching method is a bit retrograded but they try their best to improve it every day. Medical life is full of exams and though we pass the exams a moderately smart way of dealing with the huge syllabus should be introduced.
Internships Opportunities :
My college provides me with a lot of internship opportunities and it continues for 1 year. Every subject is touched during this 1 year giving us a rough idea about every course we can take and giving us time to decide our preferred course.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college fees are way lower than other colleges but the books and other things required to study MBBS are costly. Though there are many scholarship programs and other help provided by the government and the stipend is moderate money to survive here.
Campus Life :
The annual fest is lobelia and it is conducted mainly during September. The library is spacious and has all the necessary books and journals. Every classroom is maintained well. Sports and other extracurricular activities need more focus. There's a need for student clubs and social groups.
Hostel Facilities :
The rooms are in bad condition and the hygiene is not maintained everytime. The hostel rooms need to be upgraded with more space to each students. Meals are eatable but still the food quality needs to be upgraded and other eating options should be included. The hostel are way too affordable.
