Review of IIT Hyderabad

Remarks :

first, you have to clear Jee Main and then get qualified for Jee Advance, and then on the basis of your rank, you will be allotted a seat in the different IITs you can apply for the exam if you are 12th pass with physics chemistry and math.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I took this course because it was the best I could get according to my Jee rank faculty: student ratio is quite good here around 1:12 faculties are well qualified from foreign universities in their respective field. I am good in academics so it is easy for me to pass.

Internships Opportunities :

Our internship companies are similar to placements almost all companies come but very few core companies average stipend is INR 72000 and the highest is INR 200000. As I am in 2nd year I will sit in internship season next year dont know about projects and outcomes.

Placement Experience :

We are allowed to sit in placements in the final year we can sit for internships in pre final year. here almost all the big tech companies, like Google, Microsoft, amazon oracle, and around 150 companies came here with 200 offers the highest package last year was 65 LPA and the average was 20 LPA. my plan is also to get a college placement and do a job after the degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total cost of studying here is around 12 lakhs, including hostel and mess fees. I got a fee remission waiving off 2/3rd of the tuition fee, i.e. 66666 Rs per semester. an also a Merit Cum merit scholarship from the institute that provides me Rs 1000 every month.

Campus Life :

There are numerous clubs catering to various interests, including technical, cultural, and sports clubs, and the infrastructure here is the best among all IITs. Elan nVision - cultural fest happens in February Milan - inter hostel Competition happens in sep-oct. Classrooms are equipped with audio-visual aids and modern teaching tools. Various student groups and clubs exist, including the student gymkhana, which coordinates events and activities.

Hostel Facilities :

I am in a single-occupancy hostel there are hostels available for all students meal provided in the mess is overall good and the menu is different all day including breakfast lunch snacks dinner it usually repeats on a weekly basis. our college is in the village area but you can get a rented room and PG 1km from the college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this to get a degree in computer science which I thought would be better for me. The course curriculum is good as of now. The faculty-and-student ratio is okay too. But all of the faculty here are contract-based I suppose but are of good knowledge. The faculty inspires students to gain knowledge and motivates them to be independent as much as possible. They train students to be disciplined and are strict in that term. The teachers are also well qualified and of a good experience. The term exams got postponed due to the weather conditions and state holidays but apart from that, every other exam is conducted timely. But I would blame the correction for the pass percentage of the students from the university, though you would find the paper to score well.

Great placement was there, but the packages were a bit less due to the recession. placement percent is around 98-99%. Many students go for higher studies, I am also thinking of doing MBA or preparing for UPSC. The highest packege this year was around 70-72 lpa.
