Remarks :
We have to give, JEE MAINS followed by JEE ADVANCE as eligibility criteria for IITs and NITs. NTA conduct JEE MAINS exam, JEE MAINS has 2 phases per year which has an application fee of around 1000Rs and 500Rs for SC/ST/GIRLS. The best of the two scores will taken into account. The application forms are available on NTA's official website. After scoring marks above cut off percentile (There's a reservation criterion) a candidate is eligible for JEE ADVANCE, which has an application fee of about INR 2800 and 1400 for Girls and SC/ST.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college, IIT BOMBAY is India's best engineering college it holds an international ranking of engineering colleges 149. It provides many such opportunities and a vast alumni network. The facility ratio is about 1:4 here, with very experienced professors. There are 2 major (Mid-sems and end-sems) exams in 1 semester, Other than that some short quizzes are conducted.
Placement Experience :
IIT Bombay holds Rank 1 in India (engineering college). The placements here are top-notch. The average package is about 25LPA. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, and Goldman sac, give very good packages. The highest package is about 4.1Cr (last year). Almost every student in IIT is placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee per year is about 3Lakh per year, but IIT Bombay has many scholarship opportunities for the students. SC/ST students have an additional fee waiver of 1Lakh (Tution fee) per sem. Other than that MCM, FREE MESSING(SC/ST), and some alumni-sponsored scholarships are also available for students.
Campus Life :
There are many events conducted in IIT BOMBAY, on a yearly basis (club events). But Mood Indigo is the Asia'a largest cultural fest with a footfall of about 1.5L, conducted here in IIT Bombay as its annual cultural fest. Also, TECHFEST is also Asia's largest science and techno festival conducted here at IIT Bombay as its annual fest. IITB's library is very vast, one can find almost every book here. Here are many clubs (Silverscreen, in sync, symphony, styleup and many more) covering all the genres, giving many sports and extracurricular opportunities.
Hostel Facilities :
Almost every facilities are available here, ( common room, study room, washing machine and dryer, gym room, TV room, music room) available in hostels itself. The food quality is good depending on hostels to hostels, overall the food is good. Registration proces of hostel is quite easy.
