Nice

Remarks :

Students are selected based on their 12th board marks and students can get admission through giving ICAR entrance examination. I got admission through the merit list based on my 12th board examination. Students should have a science background in their 12th standard. In my time the cut-off for Unreserved students was 91%

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is a better course than any general Bsc course 1:200 faculty-to-student ratio Our teachers are highly qualified, having Ph.D., post-doctoral degrees and good teaching skills in all 3 faculty (Agriculture, Horticulture, Btech in Agriculture) Total 8th semester, per semester, has a short-term exam in the first 3 months and end term in the last 3 months including all practical examinations. One has to study well to pass the semester

Internships Opportunities :

During our 7th and 8th semesters, we worked on Two projects named Rural agriculture work experience and Experiential learning program. No company offered an internship with a stipend. Our university gave a stipend for that previous internship RWAE and ELP

Placement Experience :

Placement good. Many national and international companies like Adani, Syngenta, HDFC Bank, TATA, PRADAN and many more came to our university and gave a job average package of 5 LPA. 100% placement. After my graduation, I started my preparation for many government jobs like IBPS AFO, NABARD, IFFCO, ADA NSC, CWC etc

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

During my time semester fees was 6775 and we got our state scholarship named SVMCM and other state student got an ICAR scholarship. Many students got placements in various companies like Adani , TATA, HDFC, NGOs etc

Campus Life :

Our campus environment Is excellent. Many festivals like Nobarun, Nairhit etc are held every year. Our university library is Esia's largest agriculture Library. The classroom is excellent like a smart classroom Many Indoor and outdoor sport

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing a Bsc. Agriculture as I came to know about the job opportunities associated with it. Faculty: The student ratio is poor because of a lack of recruitment in this sector for a long time. Quality of teaching is average because there are a limited number of teachers who could inculcate our interest in this subject through their good teaching methods. Others were just presenting slides and reading out the lines written on them. Random announcement of exams was frequent with only 40 percent syllabus completed in 3 months and 60 percent syllabus completed only 10 days before the exam. Moreover, there were midterm, endterm, and viva throughout 1 month and it was very hectic due to continuous 33 exam papers conducted at a time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

India is an agriculture-dependent country where more than 70% of the people are involved in agriculture and allied sectors, there is a huge scope for improvement and modernization. The faculty and profs are very helpful, no extra tuition is needed, library is available. Exams are not that punctual but moderately easy to pass.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for the campus Placements. Various Seed Companies Fertilizers companies and many other private companies are visited and various offers are made. The highest Package was 720000 per annum and the average package was 480000 per annum. About 30 to 40 percent of students are getting placements. My plan is to take a placement offered by the Company.
