Our Campus is the best Campus

Remarks :

When I was in 12th my teacher just told me about the study stream. I don't know about this. He also told me, that if I wanted to get a chance in this university, I require a very good percentage in the HS examination. He also told me about the ICAR exam. I thought that, never I couldn't get 97% or 98% marks, I wanted to go for the ICAR exam. And I also appeared in this exam. But luckily I got very good marks in HS and was able to fill up the application form. In the second merit list, I got a chance at this university and got a call for physical verification. The date was 08/10/2021. I also come for physical verification. My all documents were okk so I got a chance at this university. I can't remember about the application date or fees. I have no reservations so I didn't get any reservation-related benefits, I only got a chance here according to my marks.

Course Curriculum Overview :

First of all, I don't know about this stream. I don't know anything about agriculture. But when I decided to apply to this university, I started to collect information that which course would be better, which campus would be better, and which subject has a better future like that. And Everyone suggests agriculture. So I was admission to Agriculture. Our faculty is very good All rooms ar clean and have smart boards ar AC facilities. Our respected professors are very good and experienced, so we all types of help from them. Our laboratories are also well maintained but there are some deficiencies in the instruments. In our semester, we have to give one midterm, one end term, and one practical exam on each subject but there are so many subjects in each semester about 10-11. And each semester our subjects and professors, all are changed. But exams are moderately easy.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is also very good. And it is easily affordable. In each semester we have to pay 6775 rupees. This fee included all charges like Library charges, laboratory charges, and bus fare. I have no reservations and my father is also a government employee so I don't get any scholarships. But the opportunity for scholarship is good.

Campus Life :

I am really enjoying this campus life and hostel Life also. We don't have any ragging issues. Seniors are really very helpful. There are 3 fests in our university. The First one is *Nabarun* - this is for welcoming our beloved juniors, the second is the social program known as *Naihrit*, and the last one is *Nissworgo* for giving farewell to our beloved seniors. All books and journals are available in our central library. Sports and other extracurricular activities also happen on our campus like football matches, cricket matches, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am pursuing a Bsc. Agriculture as I came to know about the job opportunities associated with it. Faculty: The student ratio is poor because of a lack of recruitment in this sector for a long time. Quality of teaching is average because there are a limited number of teachers who could inculcate our interest in this subject through their good teaching methods. Others were just presenting slides and reading out the lines written on them. Random announcement of exams was frequent with only 40 percent syllabus completed in 3 months and 60 percent syllabus completed only 10 days before the exam. Moreover, there were midterm, endterm, and viva throughout 1 month and it was very hectic due to continuous 33 exam papers conducted at a time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

India is an agriculture-dependent country where more than 70% of the people are involved in agriculture and allied sectors, there is a huge scope for improvement and modernization. The faculty and profs are very helpful, no extra tuition is needed, library is available. Exams are not that punctual but moderately easy to pass.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for the campus Placements. Various Seed Companies Fertilizers companies and many other private companies are visited and various offers are made. The highest Package was 720000 per annum and the average package was 480000 per annum. About 30 to 40 percent of students are getting placements. My plan is to take a placement offered by the Company.
