Remarks :

I have taken the JEE main exam for entering this college and I got 97.67 percentile in it This is why I secured a 21396 rank I don't have any reservation benefits I secured mechanical engineering in NITK. We can find the application form on the josaa website and application fees will be based on category, the maximum fee would be 1200.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good and the faculty is awesome I am interested in mechanical engineering so I opted for mechanical engineering at NITK. All the faculties have done Ph.D. and the teaching method is good, they share ppts and slides there would be quizzes and a mid-sem and end-sem exam for every sem and it would be quite easy and can be passed easily.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The institute provides internships during summers within the campus. The internship is mainly based on research in your interest area. However, it's at the professor guide's discretion to accept your application or not.

Placement Experience :

Placement Is Too Good That Is Nearly 60 Lakhs. And there are many companies that come to our campus and give a very good offer to talented students and to get good packages, it's also important to get a good cgpa to get good packages.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees would be dependent on the category of person to which he belongs, For a general category student fee would be 2 lacs including the hostel, and for SC, the ST fee would be 1lakh per semester, Every semester hostel price remains the same rarely they get an increased student can get a scholarship like nsp fee and it even provides scholarship.

Campus Life :

Life is good in NITK Annual Fest is INCIDENT and a tech fest named ENGINEER occurs in May and October respectively Here many books are available like fictional sci-fi and many more even course-related classes are of high class and very good.

Interview Experience :

To get admission to the National Institute of Technology Surathkal Karnataka, I took given Jee mains exam and qualified for the exam and i secured a good rank and then got into counseling called JOSSA and filled option entry of my choice and got NITK.

IIIT Dharwad - A college to be avoided

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in game development and I wanted to learn coding. All the teaching faculty in the college have PhD degree in their respective subjects. Teaching method can be improved as they just read pdf rather than make the class interesting. Term exams take place every two months and there are only two term exams which are mid sem and end sem. Difficulty of exams is moderate.

Placement Experience:

In the 6th, 7th and 8th sem students can able to attend the campus placement. So many companies will be visiting for campus placement. Around 50-100 companies will be visiting every year. 85% of the students will be getting placements. My plan after getting a degree is to work in an MNC company as a web developer.

EAST OR WEST NITK IS BEST.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement after 3rd year of bechlor degree. Companies like Google, Infosys, Facebook, Flipkart, Microsoft, oracle, YouTube, amazone, Intel, Uber, Myntra, Cisco, NetApp, Morgan, visa and many more. Over 93% students are placed last year. And the maximum packege was above 45 LPA.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. Yeah, we have many different types of companies. Last time one member from our got selected for the 23 lakhs package and i dont know about the lowest package. The percentage of students should be more than 60.

Cbit is the best college in education

Placement Experience:

The placements will be done from the 6th sem but in our college, they started in the 2nd sem, it is very useful in students life. The highest package is 8 lakhs and the lowest package is 2 lakhs. 70% of students were placed.
