How are the placements in the IIM Indore, Mumbai campus?

IIM Indore placements for the Mumbai campus are same as the Indore campus. The placements are integrated. IT, General Management & Operations, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Consulting & Analytics, etc. are the major recruiting sectors for the campus. Students receive an average CTC of INR 12.7 LPA. The placement rate for the institute is 100%. During the 2019 placements, the campus received the highest CTC up to now, i.e. INR 85 LPA.

According to some of my friends studying at IIM Indore, Mumbai campus, the placement is virtually the same. Here are some things they mentioned in this context.

Since 2015 IIM Indore Mumbai campus students have attended placements with IIM Indore campus students.
IIM Indore’s Mumbai campus students attend their last term in IIM Indore.
It has been seen that the recruiters demand the resume of PGP students instead of PGP- M.
It is only the choice of the recruiters and no one can question them.
Due to this PGP-M students receive lesser opportunities. These opportunities may vary according to the company.

Lastly, it is seen that the summer internships for Mumbai campus students are conducted by the PGP-M participants. It may not be possible to put the exact placement records but it can be said that they were decent enough.

IIM Indore, Mumbai campuses cater to a large group of students in their Postgraduate Program (PGP) and Integrated Programme in Management (IPM) batch.
On a regular basis; the placements of both campuses are integrated; the students of Mumbai go to Indore for placements.
IIM Mumbai is a preferred campus as it is situated in the financial capital of the country prominently presenting a range of opportunities.
There are around 578 students.

The place has included quite interdisciplinary sectors ranging from sales to consulting and IT. The highest recruiting sector was Finance & consulting while operations were the last choice of various other individuals.

Students of both the campuses having PGP and PGP-M received mostly the same opportunities. But PGP students are always given an upper hand while selecting. A company will take a PGP-M student for one year but not repeat the same.
