B.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (2021)

IIT Hyderabad placements have been pretty good over the last few years. Some of the major recruiters that visit the campus placements frequently are BPCL, L&T, HPCL, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, etc.

During the 2022 placement drive, students received an average CTC of INR 23 LPA. While the highest CTC offered was INR 65 LPA.

Studied B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, (2020)

According to my fellow batchmates, out of all the IITs, IIT Hyderabad is one of the fastest-growing IIT. The location of this IIT also adds an advantage as it is an IT hub. Studying here I have realised that the college offers humongous placement opportunities to all its students.

A variety of courses are offered like Fractal Academics, fractional credit courses like Photojournalism, Film Making, etc. interdisciplinary branches such as Engineering Science and various others.

Placement Overview at IIT Hyderabad for 2019–

It is important to bear in mind that not all students sit for placements. A lot of them opt for higher education in India or abroad instead of sitting for placement.

In 2013, the college saw only 52 recruiters and the number has increased to almost 100 for the past year. It shows a lot of improvement over a very short time span.

If you want to pursue higher education, IIT Hyderabad has strong collaborations with various institutes of Japan that conduct student exchange programs.

Therefore, it all depends on you. Even if you do not get placed through campus placements, you can always opt for off-campus placements or higher education as well by the time you get your degree.
