IIT BHU offers better infrastructure, facilities, placements, and campus life. Being a centrally funded institute the education facilities offered at the institute are excellent. IIT BHU placements 2022 witnessed the highest international CTC of around INR 2.05 CPA and the highest domestic CTC received by the students was INR 78 LPA. UBER, Microsoft, Uipath, and Mastercard were some of the major recruiters.

IIT BHU offers an unmatched campus experience with exciting sports facilities and extracurricular activities.

IIT BHU and NIT Trichy both are well-recognized across the country. You will get decent career opportunities and exposure to grow at both campuses. So, you should choose one of these two institutes based on your rank. If you have a good rank in JEE Advanced and you are getting core branches like CSE, ME, ECE, EE, etc. at IIT BHU, then you should go for it. While if you have a good JEE Mains rank and you are getting core branches at NIT T, then choosing it will be better.

NIT Trichy has a better NIRF ranking. It can offer better infrastructure and research culture. While the placement opportunities offered at IIT BHU are one of the best in the country. In 2022, the highest CTC offered was INR 2.05 CPA. The IIT brand name also has certain perks.

The answer to this question mainly depends on the factor upon which you are judging both the colleges.Both of the institutes are amongst the premier engineering institutes of India, and in fact, some of the surveys ranked NIT Trichy up higher than IIT BHU. But that doesn’t mean IIT BHU is not worth joining.

Let's see some of the facilities IIT BHU provides irrespective of the branch you opt for-

At par faculties, IIT BHU is one of the oldest IITs, state of the art labs and libraries, sports facilities, Research facilities, heavy and centralized funding, the placements, and of course you will be surrounded by the brightest minds of India. And the most important thing is the ‘IIT Tag’, which believe me you’ll enjoy the most. Keeping in mind all of the above factors, IIT BHU will provide an unmatched experience for sure.

Now NIT Trichy won’t give you an IIT tag, but surely it would provide you with the best infrastructure and placement offers. NIT Trichy has lower fees when compared to IIT BHU. One factor which you would like to consider is that IIT BHU is located in the city of Varanasi whereas NIT Trichy is not.

For admission in NIT Trichy, it requires an above-average or in fact a good rank in JEE Main to secure a seat there, so straightaway neglecting the NIT Trichy option would be a bad idea and you should consider it. In the end, it all comes down to either you want a branch of your choice or college.
