Is HC. Verma alone enough for JEE Main?

HC Verma is a great book for starting your preparation and building your concepts in Physics. The theory is well written with good objective problems given for every chapter. However, you should consider the fact that the majority of the students that are preparing for JEE are following HC Verma and solving these questions. So, you can’t expect good marks, just by following this book. Go through your NCERT books, coaching materials, previous years’ questions along with HC Verma books to do well in JEE Main.
