Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) does not have an AICTE approval yet which is needed for your degree to be recognized as valid by other institutions in the country. If you are planning to do higher studies after the diploma from NTTF, then you may not get opportunities as it is not recognized. There is no point in doing a degree that is not recognized.
However, if you are looking for just a job after the course and nothing else, then it is good. It has good placement records and you will get ample opportunities for the same. I would say think twice before coming to this college if you are still not sure whether you are doing this course for just a job or higher studies.
My brother goes to NIT Calicut so I can give you some insight into their M.Tech VLSI and EDT course. Here are the glimpses of the placement record for the year 2020.
Parameters | MTech Microelectronics and VLSI Design | MTech Electronics Design Technology |
Highest CTC offered | INR 21.5 LPA | INR 21.5 LPA |
Average CTC offered | INR 16.4 LPA | INR 16.7 LPA |
Lowest CTC offered | INR 6.8 LPA | INR 9 LPA |
The average CTC offered to both of these programs is almost similar. Also, the course has a good ROI. M.Tech Microelectronics and VLSI Design is in great demand and it is turning out to be one of the best courses at NIT Calicut.
IIIT Allahabad is better than IIIT Delhi. It offers great academics in IT and has an extremely competitive campus environment. Students of the institute dominate almost every major coding platform. Over the years IIIT Allahabad students made their presence felt in competitive coding events such as GSoC, ACM ICPC, and Google Code Jam.
IIIT Allahabad placements 2022 witnessed an average CTC of INR 19 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 32.2 LPA.
A friend of mine did her BTech from IEM Kolkata and now she is working as a Cyber Security Analyst in a big firm. Here are a few things that she experienced in her duration at the college.
If you are choosing IEM try to make the most of it. Other than college learning, try and take up some extra courses such as coding or hacking and security, it will help a lot. There are a handful of helpful faculties at IEM. Interacting and working with those professors will help a lot in going good places.
Learn to utilize their time and learn new things. Learn something new and read as much as possible. If you are not happy with campus placements then you should look for off-campus placements as well.
IIM Ahmedabad easily ensures a high salary. One of my cousin's brothers was an IIM Ahmedabad pass out. Today he is working abroad for Amazon and earns around 1.8 crore.
Another friend, an IIM Ahmedabad pass out, is making 26 LPA. He was nowhere near 20% or 30% of the batch, neither in academics nor in terms of campus replacement figures.
So we can safely assume that even without much shifting of jobs, an IIM Ahmedabad passout would reach the 1 crore easily.
The most important thing you should know is which course will prove to be better for your career, rather than which is the best overall. As some of my friends are from NITIE Mumbai, I can give you a bit of information about PGDIE and PGDIM.
Therefore, it is suggested that you opt for the one that suits you the best. Ask yourself where your passion lies and will a management course or a technical course be beneficial for you.
C.M.S Jain University Bangalore is an integral part of Jain University Bangalore. I know a few people from the institute. Here is a brief overview of the institute based on what I heard through them.
Highlights:
The University ranking by some reputed organizations is as below.
This should give you a fair idea of the institute.
Life at NIT Trichy is really good. You will get to study at one of the best institutes while also get to enjoy the multiple facilities that the institute provides. The course is academics heavy with equal focus on practical learning/. You will have access to library facilities where you will get multiple books. There is a gym and swimming pool where you will able to exercise and stay fit. There is a salon and canteen facilities. You will also have access to unlimited wifi. There are multiple, sports facilities like badminton, tennis, basketball courts, etc. You will also have a TV room in your hostel. Both the three schools are premium colleges for pursuing an MBA. However, Doon Business School is the best choice depending on the level of specialization of the school. Christ Bangalore is also excellent when it comes to its MBA program which was started way back. Christ provides multiple specializations to MBA students. You can expect to get a 360-degree education if you join Christ as an MBA student. You will get the opportunity to participate in the multiple networking events that are hosted by the university. Many workshops, seminars and discussions are conducted by the university. Also, you will have the opportunity to take part in internships. The placement record of MBA is also great at Christ University. You can expect to get packages above 7 lakhs. The top recruiters include Deloitte, KPMG, HSBC, Amazon, Cognizant, Accenture, etc.
CUSAT is not a good option for core branches i.e. Mechanical, Civil, ECE or EEE. I am saying this out of personal experience. No core companies visit for Civil placements, and hardly 1-2 companies visit for Mechanical.
SRM gives its students the opportunity to sit for core companies like L&T. At CUSAT, core branch students are ultimately forced to sit for mass recruiters like BYJU’s, Wipro or TCS, or to try for off campus placements or competitive exams. But for CS/IT, Safety and Fire, and Ship Tech, CUSAT is a good option. The placements for these branches are quite good at the college.
CUSAT is a great option for its flagship courses, but if you want to study a core branch, choose SRM University.
