How do I get admission to NITIE Mumbai?
You can apply to NITIE if you are an engineer. There are two ways in which you can get into NITIE. Either through the CAT exam or through the GATE exam.
You can apply for PGDIM or PGDISEM if you are applying through the CAT exam. Otherwise, you can apply for PGDIE, PGDPM, or PGDMM course if are applying through GATE exam.
After clearing the criteria in exams you have to face PI and GD rounds to get into NITIE. You will get a call if you are shortlisted in the final merit list after the GD-PI round. You will get the detailed admission procedure on the official website.
What is the average placement package of the top law universities like VIZ NLSIU, NALSAR and NUJS?
In the top three law schools, the placement scenes are fantastic.
In terms of placement, WBNUJS has been doing really well. In the past, it has received 100% placement (not inclusive of those who do not sit for placements). The graduating class of 2020 received offers for all 78 participants who participated in the recruitment process.
With 30 students taking Day Zero in NALSAR, a total of 28 offers were offered, with 17 being accepted.
Last year at NLSIU, 47 final-year students who opted for it were hired by 19 businesses. The average remuneration package was about Rs 18 lakhs. In 2020, 40 job offers were made during NLSIU's day zero recruitment, which set a record.
The average salary at each of the top three law schools is nearly identical. Domestic and international firms pay different amounts for traineeships, with the average foreign firm package ranging from INR 38 lakhs to 44 lakhs and the average domestic firm package ranging from INR 8 lakhs to 18 lakhs.

How are the MTech placements of CSE in IIT Bombay?
The placement opportunities for MTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at IIT Bombay are excellent and rightly so.
IIT Bombay is one of the superior technology and Engineering institutes in the country. The placement procedure at IIT Bombay is extremely competitive, and recruiters from a wide range of industries and sectors visit the campus to recruit students.

What is the average package at IIM Shillong?
Indian Institute of Management Shillong (IIM Shillong) has a reputation for both its strong placement record and its high return on investment (ROI). The MBA (PGP) program at IIM Shillong has a fee of INR 10 LPA, and students have received an average package of above INR 15 LPA. The institute recently completed its final placements for the 2020-22 class, with a 100% placement rate for its largest batch since the school's founding. In addition, IIM Shillong released its placement report for the Post Graduate Programme for Executives (MBAEE), in which 15 students participated. The highest CTC offered was INR 32.2 LPA, and the average CTC was INR 21.71 LPA. The institute also released its summer internship placement report for its 14th batch, in which 240 students received internship offers from 66 participating recruiters. The highest stipend offered was INR 3.5 Lakhs, and the average stipend increased by 26.02% year-over-year to INR 1.73 Lakhs. Overall, IIM Shillong continues to demonstrate strong placement and salary outcomes for its students.
Which is better: the IIMA or the FMS?
Rather than asking which is better IIMA or FMS you should be asking what is better for you.
My friend is an IIM Ahmedabad pass out. She had got offers from IIM Calcutta, Lucknow, and FMS as well. Yet she chose IIMA because it was her dream college. One year into IIMA she realized some major shortcomings.
- The case pedagogy here is overhyped and not at par with global B Schools.
- The professors don’t teach you much, but rather keep you busy through assignments and quizzes.
- No practical learning of concepts as the curriculum was very obsolete in today’s world of business.
The only significant feature here is its excellent placement. This is also the reason why it attracts so much crowd. But this fantasy is also short-lived. As soon as you land a job, you have to start paying back the excessive loan for years. For instance, you land a package with CTC 20 LPA. The in-hand salary would be around 1 lakh and the EMI standing at the end of every month would be 50000. After reducing EMI and personal expenses you get little for yourself for several years despite your hard work. Despite graduating you will be stuck in the same life for years.
Now considering FMS it has the following merits that make it a tad bit better than IIM Ahmedabad
- Very low fees in comparison to IIM Ahmedabad
- Since you don’t have to take a loan you feel a sense of freedom to take up the course of your choice.
Your batchmates from FMS will be enjoying life, and fulfilling their dreams and you will be still stuck in the same circle of paying back loans. So the brand value is just not enough. I don’t think spending 20 lakhs on any Indian B School is worth it.
Can I get direct admission in Sharda University?
No, Sharda University does not offer direct admission to any of its courses. Admissions are based on merit and selection criteria set by the university.
To get admission to Sharda University, you need to meet the eligibility criteria for the course you are interested in. You can apply online by visiting the university's website and following the admission process mentioned there.
The admission process typically includes filling up the application form, submitting the required documents, appearing for the university's entrance exam (if required), and participating in the counseling process.
The university conducts its own entrance exams known as SUAT (Sharda University Admission Test) and PESSAT (Pearson Entrance Exam for Sharda University) for some courses. However, for some other courses, admission is based on national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main, NEET, CAT, MAT, etc.
In conclusion, there is no provision for direct admission to Sharda University, and you have to follow the university's admission process to secure a seat in your desired course.
How is SRM University Haryana?
There are quite a few stories regarding violence by the local students in SRM University Haryana. Many of these students harass others from other regions and bully them. They will take advantage of you being away from home. They are known to bang doors and walls but they do not stop if you ask them to and it is definitely an unpleasant experience.
There have also been cases of public indecency and the warden or hostel in charge will only make them write an apology letter. As of now, they have been silenced due to incessant complaining but the harassment still continues sometimes.
If you are not from North India, then do not think of coming to SRM University. The batch of 2018-19 was not good at all. Most of the students were ill-minded and perhaps from the goonish areas of Haryana.
If you bring your parents for a visit, most of them will have positive responses as they do not want to be silenced after complaints but this is the current scenario here. My advice to you would be to think twice before you decide to take a seat here.
How are the placements OF IT/CS at MSIT?
MSIT is well known for its good placement record. The packages are generally mentioned or are told in the email by the company.
For IT or CS, most of the students get placed provided they don’t have any backlogs and successfully cleared the written examination. Most of the students get placed in companies like Infosys, Accenture, etc. There are good companies too, but their selection process is difficult, which is the case for most institutes.
