IIITM Gwalior IT is better than VIT Vellore CSE. It has a better course structure. Students get to learn the core subjects from the first year itself. IIITM Gwalior placements are also better. 

According to IIITM Gwalior placement highlights, around 85% of students from the IT branch get placed each year. The salary packages offered are in the range of INR 10 LPA - 42 LPA.  Facebook, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in the placement drive. 

IIM Trichy is a better option compared to IIM Kashipur. It ranks higher than IIM Kashipur and has a better placement record. According to the NIRF 2022 ranking, IIM Trichy ranks among the top 20 B-Schools in the country. 

The institute wrapped its 2022 placement drive with an average CTC of INR 17.01 LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was INR 34 LPA.  Recruiters like Capgemini, Samsung, Accenture, JP Morgan, etc. were among the top recruiters that took part in IIM Trichy placements 2022.

My uncle is a successful architect and has the experience of employing many architects. He shared his experience stating that architecture students of both BIT Mesra and NIT Trichy are Unfortunately both the institutions are engineering colleges where architecture is considered equal because both are engineering colleges with Architecture as just one of the many specializations offered by the institute. None of these institutes are specialized in this field so the students study in a more engineering-oriented ambiance. They lack the ability to think independently of constraints imposed by engineering abilities available in India. I recommend you pursue Architecture from an institution that has Architecture as its flagship course like CEPT or SPA.

Nevertheless, comparing Architecture from BIT Mesra and NIT Trichy, I will say the former has a better crowd and opportunities than the latter. Both are somewhat at similar levels and it's hard to make a direct comparison. It's that students from BITS Mesra are better exposed so they make better Architects than NIT Trichy students.

Even though I am a CSE student at VIT Vellore, I would like to point out some weaknesses of my institution-

1. The annual intake for all the branches, all four categories, is quite high at VIT Vellore. It is close to 5000 students each year. In the CSE branch alone, close to 1300 students are admitted annually (including Bioinformatics).
2. Placements seem very high, but in reality, large scale mass recruitments by IT firms like Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc. inflate the placement figures. 
3. The course fee at VIT is comparatively higher. It is around 1.95 Lakhs per year. This too if you are a category 1 (merit) student. Around 1 Lakh per year is added if you belong to the other three categories. 
4. Advanced Placement Training sessions have been introduced for students. But these sessions aren’t really helpful in practicality. In fact 6 hours of each weekend is spent in these sessions. 
5. Those with a good CGPA get good hostel rooms in good blocks. Those who fail to score high grades are given older blocks.
6. The hostel rules are strict. This is especially true when you have to get a leave sanctioned from your faculty advisor or proctor.

NIT Surathkal, on the other hand, is a government college. It has an intake of around 800 students in all the branches, with 120 students in CSE. The institution offers top notch placements. There are no mass hirings. The course fee falls between 1.38 to 1.57 Lakhs per year. College rules are much more flexible.

Thus, based on these observations, I would suggest you take admissions in NIT Surathkal for your CSE program.

If you're considering your options for an engineering college, it's important to weigh the pros and cons of each institution. Here are some things to consider when choosing between HBTI and MIT Manipal:

• HBTI is a well-regarded engineering college in Uttar Pradesh, known for offering quality education and a variety of engineering programs.
• While HBTI is a good choice, it's important to research the college's placements to ensure that it can offer you the career opportunities you're looking for.
• On the other hand, MIT Manipal is also a well-known and respected institution, with a reputation for providing excellent education and outstanding placements.
• If you're interested in pursuing engineering, MIT Manipal may be a great choice, as it has consistently high placement rates and a strong reputation among employers.
• When deciding between two colleges, it's important to consider the branch of engineering that you're interested in. One college may be stronger in a particular branch, so it's important to do your research and choose the college that aligns with your interests.
• IET Lucknow is another engineering college in Uttar Pradesh, but if you have the option to choose between HBTI and MIT Manipal, it's recommended that you focus on those two institutions.

Ultimately, when deciding between two colleges, it's important to give preference to branch selection. Consider the program you're interested in and which college offers the best opportunities for your chosen field.

Take the time to do your research and explore all of your options before making a decision. With careful consideration, you can choose the engineering college that's right for you.

Rather than judging your decision, I will list down some merits of both colleges and leave the rest for you to choose from.

Reasons why one should choose IIM Kashipur over NMIMS:

• Smaller Batch-size: IIM Kashipur has a relatively smaller batch size than NMIMS. This means the placement opportunities will be better and attention given to each student will be more.

• Lower fees: Mumbai fees are around 21 lakhs for two years. Also, it does not include the accommodation and food expenses that a person will have in the two years. The minimum expenses in a city like Mumbai will stand at 20000. The total fee is much higher than IIM Kashipur ( INR 1730000).

• Specializes in Operations: The leading domain of IIM Kashipur is operations whereas NMIMS has limited scope for the same.

Reasons why one should join NMIMS:

• Better opportunities in terms of companies, packages, and roles than any other new IIM 
• Better location than the new IIMs
• Strong alumni base

So if you are confident that you can remain among the top 200 go for NMIMS, else IIM Kashipur it is.

When it comes to comparing IIM Ranchi and MDI Murshidabad, there are a few key factors to consider. In terms of brand value among IIMs, IIM Ranchi may be considered better. However, it's worth noting that the fees at MDI Murshidabad are lower than those at IIM Ranchi.

One important consideration is the infrastructure of the two institutes. MDI Murshidabad has its own campus and hostel facilities onsite, while IIM Ranchi does not have a campus. This may be a factor for students who prefer on-campus housing. Additionally, while IIM Ranchi is known for its HRM program, MDI Murshidabad may be considered better for other specializations. Ultimately, the decision between these two institutes will depend on the individual student's priorities and needs.
