While the speaker has no personal experience with SRM, Chennai, it's worth noting that branches like CS/IT are rarely dependent on the faculty or college.

In IT, at some point in your course, you will have to learn languages on your own and accordingly code using those languages. If you are considering pursuing a Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA), it's important to choose the right college. While Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) and Symbiosis are both well-known institutions, there are some differences between them that you should consider.

• Reputation: Symbiosis Pune is known for its strong BBA program and has consistently ranked among the top BBA colleges in India. While NMIMS Mumbai is also a reputable institution, the Bangalore campus may not be as well-known.
• Curriculum: The curriculum of the BBA program at Symbiosis Pune is designed to provide students with a broad understanding of business management and administration. The program includes courses in accounting, finance, marketing, human resources, and other areas. NMIMS Bangalore also offers a similar curriculum, but the Mumbai campus is known for its specialization in finance.
• Faculty: Both Symbiosis Pune and NMIMS Bangalore have experienced faculty members who bring industry experience to the classroom. However, Symbiosis has a larger faculty and a more diverse set of professors with different areas of expertise.

DTU should be your priority. It is one of the oldest Indian Engineering institutions. It has a brand name and a good reputation. It has better placements, campus, college life, location, etc. than COEP. Only NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal are on par with DTU. Mechanical is a renowned branch at DTU. The Mechanical department has many innovations to its credit. For example, the first Biodiesel Lab in India.

I know someone who did his B.Tech Mechanical from COEP. He chose COEP over a top NIT. According to him, it was not a wise decision for his career. Teaching is done mostly in Marathi at COEP. Some of the faculty members are underqualified and not up to the mark. This made him lose interest in learning and resulted in poor personality development.

At NITs, you study with people from across India and this offers exposure to different cultures. The NIT brand also has its added advantages. NITs have a standard grading system known in the industry. When you graduate from COEP and go to, say IIMs, the grading system at COEP causes a lot of hassle. COEP does not offer cross-culture exposure. Though the labs at COEP are big, the equipment is outdated and non-functional. 

A benefit is that COEP is located in Pune which is an automotive hub. Therefore, Mechanical students get to connect with the automotive industry. Pune automotive industry has a large number of COEP alumni. All this allows you to do a lot of live industry projects while on campus.

Overall, choose DTU and if you do not get admission into it, go for lower NITs. 

SIIB-Pune would be a better choice than Fore or TAPMI. Let's break down your analysis to understand why you believe SIIB-Pune is the best choice among the three options:

FORE follows with the highest package of 23.5 LPA and an average package of 13 LPA for the 2023 batch. TAPMI average package stood at 14.8 LPA and the highest package of 24.8 LPA was offered.

Based on these factors, you conclude that SIIB Pune is the best choice, followed by TAPMI and FORE.

Manipal University Jaipur is the better choice, among these. Jaipur campus has better infrastructure. The departmental labs are well-equipped with latest instruments. Jaipur campus has a more competitive environment. 

Although the placement opportunities are similar for both campuses, due to the central location, MUJ attracts industry giants like Amazon, Wells Fargo, etc. Manipal University Jaipur placements 2021 witnessed the highest CTC of INR 25 LPA.
