One of my friends is pursuing a BTech from CIT Kokrajhar and from what I have heard from him, it should be your last option when choosing institutes. The faculty pool comprises professors from well-renowned colleges like IIT, NERIST, ACE, and NIT. Although the institute has decent campus facilities it's yet to reach the level of NITs and other top engineering colleges. The development rate is slow.
Another friend praised the institute claiming it had many big projects under the way. Its infrastructure is better than most state engineering colleges and the professors are very talented. A professor was awarded the junior scientists award by the Indian government. Other facilities include free WiFi, medical, hostel facilities, transport facilities, sports facilities, and events like the annual cultural and technical festival. Recently, a central university library has opened and many more facilities are under way.
So, these were some opinions about studying at CIT. Choose wisely after going through all the factors!

KPMG, Abode, Deloitte, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in the placement drive.
