LPU has plenty of extracurriculars to offer. The only requirement is that you make use of those opportunities.
You should enroll in the activities that take place in DSA block-14. You can enroll yourself in singing, dancing, sports, arts or other classes. These classes are free of cost, the only requirement is your time and interest.
If you wish to volunteer for social work, you can join student organizations like NSS, Pahal Initiation, AASHRAY, etc. It is an honor that some of our university’s NSS students have walked the Republic Day parade at New Delhi in the past.
As a final year student at LPU, I would highly recommend you to participate in extracurricular activities on campus and make good use of your free time.
I completed my B.Tech from LPU in 2018. This is how my first day at the university went-
My hometown is located in Andhra Pradesh, so it took around 40 hours by train to reach the campus. It was quite tiring to travel such a long distance for the first time. I was accompanied by my mother and father. We were directed to the block 3 basement where I received my UMS details along with my hostel allotment details.
I reached my hostel by bus, and on my way there, I was impressed with the infrastructure of LPU. Upon reaching my hostel, I freshened up and took all my documents for verification. I also applied for my ID card.
Then I and the other freshers were asked to sit in the Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium for our induction ceremony. The auditorium was partly under construction at the time. We enjoyed cultural performances for a while, and then, Dr. Lovi Raj Gupta (Dean, LFTS) and Ms. Rashmi Mittal ( Pro Chancellor) gave their speeches. I was highly impressed with the personality and mannerisms of Mittal ma’am.
Later in the day, we had dinner in the mess, after which my parents left for home. That night I lay in bed with a bit of anxiety about what was next to come.
But as I write this answer after so many years, I can only thank LPU for all the good experiences and opportunities.

These are some of the aspects of studying B.Tech CSE from LPU. From a personal perspective, I had a good learning experience at LPU.
I am a final year B.Pharma student at LPU.
The university offers good facilities to Pharmacy students. The Pharma students are provided with a separate library and a herbal garden (for ayurveda studies). The faculty of Pharma is very supportive and experienced. Moreover, the department ensures that seminars are organized for the students regularly.
Thus, LPU is a good university for B.Pharma.

The LPU campus is spread across 600+ acres of land. It has all the necessary facilities like a hospital, a shopping mall, a hotel, banks, atm machines, etc. LPU is a private university with top infrastructure.
This is the entrance to LPU-
One of the first buildings you’ll notice upon entering the campus is the University Hospital-
The campus also has a HEXI cycle stand. The students can use the bicycles for navigating the campus, in case they feel tired of walking-
Other than the facilities already mentioned above, there are-
Apart from these facilities, there is a lot more to explore at the LPU campus. This is the reason why the campus is spread across such a vast expanse of land.
My sister graduated with a B.Tech Aerospace degree from LPU in 2020. This answer is based on her personal experience.
The LPU administration takes good care of its students’ needs, and provides various cultural and academic programs for them. My sister’s batch of 2016 was the first Aerospace batch at LPU. There were around 55 students in her batch in total.
The Aerospace faculty is dedicated towards the students’ welfare. They work hard and regularly motivate their students to publish research papers. Moreover, they make every effort to open up great internship opportunities for their students.
Aerospace is a relatively new field in India, and many people don’t know much about it. So it is the students’ responsibility to work hard if they want a bright career in Aerospace Engineering. The paid internships for Aerospace are much fewer as compared to CSE.
LPU is excellent for exposure and growth, but you should first consider the universities in South India for courses in Aerospace. As far as North India is concerned, LPU and CU both offer B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering.
Both LPU and CU are good universities in terms of placements and academics. However, as an alumnus of LPU, I can only talk about my university.
LPU has a good campus, infrastructure, and college life. Once at LPU, you’ll experience a lot more than just education. The campus is well structured and has all the modern facilities.
The student crowd at LPU is quite diverse, consisting of individuals from different ethnicities and backgrounds. There is a strict attendance criteria at LPU, and the students have to follow it religiously. The university follows a single centralized system (UMS) for all academic activities. The campus operations are mainly conducted in online mode.
There are around 2300 faculty members on campus, and all of them are experienced and qualified in their specialized fields.
Overall, LPU is a renowned private university.
