On the other hand, the CSE department had a 100% placement rate with a maximum salary of INR 69 LPA, placing it at the top of the salary hierarchy among departments. During the NIT Calicut placements in 2022, a total of 193 companies visited the campus, resulting in a placement rate of 90.90%. Is it difficult to take admission in NLSIU Banglore?
According to some of the student reviews, I read online, I would say that the answer depends on your preparation for the entrance exam CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) if you wish to get into any National Law Schools/Universities in India.
Every exam is competitive since there are so many other students appearing for the exam along with you. NLSIU's intake is very minimal when compared to others. Its syllabus is quite challenging and the students there get prepared as quite good lawyers.
Roughly, you will have to make sure that you rank in the first 50 in All India Rank (AIR) if you belong to the general category, and you get a little more margin if you belong to any reservation category.
Can I get an honest review on LPU University placements in engineering?
I am a BTech Mechanical graduate from LPU. Here is an honest review on the placement scenario at LPU (in engineering)-
The placement scenario is poor for Civil, Mechanical and Electrical. Few companies visit these departments for placements, and hire a maximum of 5-10 students in total. But if someone knows basic coding, they can sit for IT placements.
Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, etc. visit the CSE/IT departments for mass hiring. Very few core companies visit the ECE department for recruitments, so the students rely on IT companies. A mere 40/50 out of 1000 ECE students get hired by an Electronics company from the campus. The IT companies mass hire students at a CTC of around 3.5 LPA.

My percentile is 94.39 in the JEE. Can I get a seat in NIT Trichy?
No, with your percentile it will be difficult to get a seat at NIT Trichy. If you are a General or OBC category student then it will be very hard to get admitted at NIT Trichy. You will have a chance to get admitted at NIT Trichy only if you are an SC/ST student or you have a Tamil Nadu domicile certificate. But keep in mind that you may not get the seat of your preferred department. NIT Trichy is in high demand so only the top percentile students get the chance to get placed. But do not worry there are other NITs where you will be able to secure a seat. You can also prepare for JEE Advanced and get a seat at the IITs.
How is Manipal University, Jaipur?
The quality of education and placements aren’t good at Manipal University, Jaipur.
- Most of the faculties don’t have much experience. The teaching methodology used is outdated.
- The past few years’ placements haven’t been good. Students from core branches struggle a lot with placements. Only the IT and CSE branches had decent placements.
- Manipal University Jaipur fees for B.Tech are around INR 12.61 LPA. While the return on investment isn’t good.
It’s better if you choose the main Manipal campus. It offers better academics and placements.
