There is no management quota at Thapar University. Admission is based on merit. Students are selected based on their JEE or 10+2 scores. The admission and counseling process is transparent.
The university gives 12 percent seat reservations for the student of the faculty. Which is often misunderstood as the management quota.
It is ranked under the top 20 among B-schools in India. Since it was established many years ago, it has a very strong alumni base. The well-educated faculty with industrial experience gives you an edge in your learning and helps you to learn many different ways of a single situation.
As experienced by one of my cousins, the infrastructure is also very eye catchy with high-speed wifi, library, gym, and other sports facilities.
The placement cell is very active providing 100% placements to all that give innumerable opportunities. As seen from the placement of the latest batch of 2019-21 in which my cousin got placed in a very prestigious company:

XIMB focuses more on your overall development from the grass-roots level only that enhances your skills and makes you a perfect master not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities. The institute prepares you for all future endeavors rather than focusing on academic excellence.
Following are the factors that you should consider before opting for the college:
The disadvantage is that students are usually not allowed to use any of these until it is during the cultural fests. Simultaneously, any extracurricular or co-curricular activity is surprisingly not very encouraging. It's the reason why you cannot take up research projects until extremely necessary.
I have witnessed the beautiful changing of seasons at DTU and that’s what thrilled me the most. The campus looked stunning with each passing season. I have attached a few photos depicting the beauty of some seasons at DTU

Some might consider other infrastructure as iconic but for me, it’s the beauty of the campus that left me in awe.
In TAPMI, the students are not allowed to stay overnight outside the campus during their course, and 100% attendance is expected. The students are allowed to leave the campus only during their term breaks.
TAPMI has a guest that provides accommodations to official guests, visiting faculty, and corporate executives. TAPMI does not allow parents to stay with their wards in the guest house.
However, TAPMI has tie-ups with hotels and lodges nearby that offer accommodations to parents and guardians of the students.
The M.Tech program in Computer Science (CS) at IIIT Lucknow is worth considering if you cannot get into other similar institutions such as IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT Bangalore, IIIT Allahabad, NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy, and NIT Karnataka.
So all in all, IIIT Lucknow is a very good option for doing an M.Tech which will sharpen your skills and prepare you for the journey ahead.
BITS Pilani has excellent accommodation and campus facilities making it worth the high fees it charges. Here are a few highlights of the hostels here.

IIT Kanpur is considered one of the premier engineering institutions in India. It is ranked among the top engineering institutes in the country and is known for its strong academic programs and excellent faculty. It is also known for its research contributions in various fields. It has several unique features that make it one of the best IITs in India.
All these unique aspects certainly make IIT Kanpur the best!
If I have to be honest, I think pursuing Computer Science at IIT Bombay is just a sheep mentality-driven dream pursued by a majority of Indians. Not many who take CS are genuinely interested and passionate about it, rather they opt for it because most genius minds consider it the best option.
The media comes to play as it advertises the highly inflated packages offered to CS students at IIT Bombay. The aspirant gets attracted to such glittering figures and flocks to IIT Bombay in the pretext to land similar packages. The media and society mold aspirants to believe that money is everything in one’s career and should always be the priority. As a result, students tend to opt for CS and don’t even consider other Engineering branches for fear of getting packages lower than those offered to CS students.
One can easily conclude that most engineering aspirants are unaware of their inclinations and thus become victims of sheep mentality. I have seen many students who join Computer Science and later realize that it’s not their forte.
There are surely some good alternatives to NICMAR and one of them is RICS School of Built Environment. It was established in 2013, but it has managed to offer very good placements to its students.
Here are some of the Pros and Cons of joining RICS School of Built Environment.
Pros
Cons
The student can talk to the current students and know the facts. Try reaching out to the alumni also either through the internet or personally. They will be able to give you the intricate details about the institution.
