It is ranked under the top 20 among B-schools in India. Since it was established many years ago, it has a very strong alumni base. The well-educated faculty with industrial experience gives you an edge in your learning and helps you to learn many different ways of a single situation.

As experienced by one of my cousins, the infrastructure is also very eye catchy with high-speed wifi, library, gym, and other sports facilities. 

• XIMB is a residential B-school where you spend most of your time with your seniors and batch-mates that help you to interact with different people to complete your assignments and projects.
• Xpressions, the management fest of XIMB, is one of the biggest attractions of the management school that prepares you for managing things whether you are in an organizing team or participating team.
• My cousin told me once that this fest is very beneficial as you see and learn many different concepts apart from your regular curriculum of management

The placement cell is very active providing 100% placements to all that give innumerable opportunities. As seen from the placement of the latest batch of 2019-21 in which my cousin got placed in a very prestigious company:

XIMB focuses more on your overall development from the grass-roots level only that enhances your skills and makes you a perfect master not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities. The institute prepares you for all future endeavors rather than focusing on academic excellence.

Following are the factors that you should consider before opting for the college:

1. Branch Ratings: It can be given a good rating for both CSE and IT branches. However, other branches like ECE and EEE have earned an average rating, while Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering have ratings below average.
2. Amenities (Labs, Hostels, etc.): The computer labs are equipped with every crucial facility. In addition, the campus buildings, hostels, and other amenities are relatively well built. The hostel food is somewhat acceptable as well.
3. Library: It is well built but the major downside is that it lacks certain important books. Surprisingly, you can put forward requests for specific books as and when required, but they rarely arrive.
4. Faculty: The faculty of Vardhaman College of Engineering can be mostly rated as “average.” The reason is quite simple. A handful of the faculty members are completely or partially not extremely concerned about the issues students usually face. It can be any professor, let alone the HOD.
5. Placement: The college often receives offers from various companies, especially companies that are IT-related. It is a major drawback. Students from ECE, EEE, or the Mechanical Engineering department often only get offered job profiles that are commonly IT-related. It can only be good if you are interested in taking up your career in the IT sector.
6. Sports and Extracurricular Activities: It has a well-equipped cricket ground with a turf pitch. Besides that, it comes with a good football field, basketball court, volleyball court, and certain indoor game amenities.

The disadvantage is that students are usually not allowed to use any of these until it is during the cultural fests. Simultaneously, any extracurricular or co-curricular activity is surprisingly not very encouraging. It's the reason why you cannot take up research projects until extremely necessary.

Some might consider other infrastructure as iconic but for me, it’s the beauty of the campus that left me in awe.

In TAPMI, the students are not allowed to stay overnight outside the campus during their course, and 100% attendance is expected. The students are allowed to leave the campus only during their term breaks. 

TAPMI has a guest that provides accommodations to official guests, visiting faculty, and corporate executives. TAPMI does not allow parents to stay with their wards in the guest house.

However, TAPMI has tie-ups with hotels and lodges nearby that offer accommodations to parents and guardians of the students. 

BITS Pilani has excellent accommodation and campus facilities making it worth the high fees it charges. Here are a few highlights of the hostels here.

• There are 12 boys’ hostels in BITS Pilani with around 230 rooms each. They are known as Bhawans. Recently a new boys' hostel has also been constructed for the research scholars.
• The girl's hostel complex is called the Meera Bhawan Complex.
• The majority of the first-year students are allotted double occupancy rooms while some are allotted single rooms. 
• The hostel buildings may look old but in reality, the hostels are maintained quite well and are cool and clean.
• There is one mess in 2 Bhawana usually and the girls' hostel has its own mess. Additionally, there are quite a few eateries inside the campus that serve delicacies.
• A typical room has all basic amenities like a fan, a bed, a study table, a chair, and an almirah. 
• Every wing has its own adequate number of bathrooms, washrooms, etc.
• Every room has a LAN connection and internet facilities are available 24/7.
• There are 2 common rooms, two grounds within the premises or sports like volleyball and badminton.

Overall, BITS Pilani hostels are one of a kind and provide top-notch facilities and amazing living conditions.

IIT Kanpur is considered one of the premier engineering institutions in India. It is ranked among the top engineering institutes in the country and is known for its strong academic programs and excellent faculty. It is also known for its research contributions in various fields. It has several unique features that make it one of the best IITs in India.

• It is one of the largest IITs spread across 1055 acres.
• Its research infrastructure is exceptionally good with top-notch laboratories, a well-structured curriculum enabling students to learn in a dynamic environment.
• The labs of IIT Kanpur have gained an international appreciation, the lecture halls are decked with modern technologies
• IIT Kanpur enjoys the best placement scenario amongst all the IITs, with a placement percentage of 100%.
• Students Gymkhana promotes extracurricular activities through five councils, more than 50 clubs, 15 hobby groups, 3 cells, and over 20 wings. 
• IIT Kanpur organizes 3 national-level festivals namely, Antaragni (Cultural), Techkriti (Science and Technology), and Udghosh (games and sports). The festivals are funded entirely by the institute and students don’t have to spend a penny.

• IIT Kanpur has the best Internet facilities in the whole of India with 2 supercomputers. Other highlights include an open-air theater, one of the best libraries in the country, 4 Computer Centres, and many more.
• On its 57th Foundation Day, IIT Kanpur was given s Research and Entrepreneurial Excellence Park which is said to provide incubation to over 100 startups.
