In my opinion, Lovely Professional University is better than Kurukshetra University. LPU stands out among private institutions in Punjab, as well as India. It is well-known for its innovative approach to teaching, excellent infrastructure, and exceptional placements.

Due to these reasons, I preferred LPU over Kurukshetra University for my higher studies.
The major factor that drives the decision of which course to pursue is the placements.
Chemical Engineering- IIT Roorkee
As per the 2018-19 placements record, more than 250 companies participated in campus placements, some of them were ITC, Reliance, Jindal Steel, TATA, and many more. Chemical Engineering Students at IIT Roorkee recorded an average placement of INR 13.05 lakhs per annum. A total of 8 PPOs were offered to Chemical Engineering students. Roles were offered for Technologist, Researcher, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Consultant, etc. The placement rate for Chemical Engineering was around 80%.
ECE at IIT Bhubaneswar
ECE is one of the new branches of IIT Bhubaneswar and was introduced in 2016. Due to this, the first batch to pass out would be the batch of 2020. So there are no past records for this course. However, seeing the trend of placements for electrical engineering, the same can be assumed for ECE as well. In the year 2018-2019, 86% of the Electrical Engineering Department was placed. Companies like Amazon, INTEL Technology, ISRO, DELL, Thermax, Tata Steel, and many more visited to recruit students during campus placements. The average placement was recorded at INR Rs. 11.44 lakhs per annum.
EEE at IIT Mandi
As per 2019-20 placements, 62.5% of EEE were placed during phase-1 of campus placements. A total of 75 companies visited the campus and some of the top recruiters were Accenture, Wipro, CISCO, ISRO, CSC India, Siemens to name a few. The average package offered was 13.5 lakhs per annum. Several PPOs were also offered.
Considering the placements data, you should choose Chemical Engineering at IIT Roorkee. However, the final decision of which course and college to select rests up to you.

Future Scope of the course opted- Engineering Design has more scope and job opportunities when compared with mechanical engineering.
Alumnus Network of the college- Established in 1959 IITM has a strong alumnus network when compared to IIT Bhubaneswar.
Faculty- IITM has more than 570 faculty on campus and IIT Bhubaneswar has around 129 faculty members.
On-Campus Events and Extra-Curricular activities- Both the colleges conducts various technical and sports events.
The batch size and crowd- IITM has a total batch size of 57 students and IIT Bhubaneswar has a total batch size of 40 students in the respective course.
Considering all the given factors Engineering Design at Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) has a slight edge over Mechanical engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar. IIT Madras is one of the prestigious colleges if you want to go for engineering courses. The Engineering Development course at IITM is a full time 5 years dual degree course leading to B.Tech. in Engineering design and M.Tech in automotive engineering or biomedical design, with an option to go for an interdisciplinary M.Tech in Robotics. Also opting for Engineering Design at IITM not only exposes you to the mechanical aspects of design, but also in electronics, controls, and embedded systems for all-round skill development. Engineering Development course at IIT Madras provides the students with proper infrastructure and ample of opportunities along with semester-long internship where students get industry exposure. You’ll also have great future prospects after pursuing this course. You can go for your own startup or seek an on-campus placement or even opt for further studies in the same field. Also of all the departments and courses offered by IIT Madras, the Engineering Development course has one of the best past placement record. Every year many companies visit the campus. For Mining, you should choose ISM. It is the best campus for the branch. The syllabus followed at the institute is rigorous. The research culture is better too. It has the best alumni base in the Mining industry. You will be able to make excellent contacts.
There are many Mining industry headquarters located in Dhanbad. So, it’s easy to get hands-on experience.
The placement averages around 100%. In the recent placement drive, the maximum salaries were offered by Coal India, Caterpillar, etc. which was INR 15-20 LPA.
IIT Gandhinagar is a better choice for Electrical Engineering than choosing BITS Pilani for Electrical and Electronics.
You should choose according to your career plan. M.Tech in Design is a core field of engineering. This branch will be better if you plan on pursuing a Ph.D.
If you want jobs with good salary packages, Industrial Engineering from IIT BHU will be better. Scop of Industrial Engineering is pretty good in India. Students of this branch get job opportunities from sectors like delivery/logistic companies, eCommerce sites, textile industries, FMCG, and manufacturing. IIT BHU offers a median CTC of around INR 15.1 LPA to the students of this branch.
Both IIT BHU and IIT Kanpur are one of the best and oldest institutes in India. But according to me IIT Kanpur is better than IIT BHU here are some reasons:

No, there is no such dress-code in IIT Bhubaneswar. But there are few basic rules regarding dress code like other colleges IIT Bhubaneswar expects the girls to follow. You should not attend the classes wearing something which may be perceived as inappropriate for the classroom environment. Other than that girls are free to wear what they want in the hostels.
But, there is a certain dress code for certain events in the college. In convocation, IIT Bhubaneswar asks its degree recipient to maintain a proper dress code. The dress code for girls is Saree with Golden Border/Churidar of Offwhite or White or Cream Color. For placements, the girls are always asked to be in their formals. The formals can be in the form of Churidar / Saree / Blazer with shirts tucked in, etc. Since jeans are not a part of formals therefore the girls are not allowed to wear such during such events.
