Both IIT Hyderabad and IIT Bhubaneswar are great options for studying CS. However, me and my brother both study CAS at IIT Bhubaneswar and I can share some insights on the institution.
- IIt Bhubaneswar provides an exclusive curriculum for the CS program along with great research facilities.
- The department offers both Btech and Mtech courses.
- The average fee for a Btech course is around INR 9 Lakhs.
- The placement scenario for the CS department is great at IIT Bhubaneswar.

Which is better, IIT BHU for mechanical or IIT Indore for mechanical?
Both are good IIT’s but IIT BHU being an old institute offers a vast alumni network due to which placements percentage is high. Also being 100 years old institution IIT BHU has well-established labs with good equipment. Whereas, IIT Indore is a new IIT and still developing. According to NIRF Rankings, IIT BHU has a better ranking that Indore: IIT BHU(11), IIT Indore(13).
Mechanical Department is one of the oldest departments of IIT BHU and has many experienced faculties who are experts in their fields. Research culture at IIT BHU is also better than IIT Indore and there is a lab in IIT BHU being sponsored by DRDO for research. The course curriculum for Mechanical is nearly the same at both the colleges. As IIT Indore is recently established (2008) it has modern infrastructure while the infrastructure of IIT BHU is quite old.
Apart from academics, the IIT BHU Gymkhana has lots of clubs and councils like Sports, Science and Tech Council, Film & Media Council, Cultural Societies which boosts personality as well as skills. Also, IIT BHU has 3 fests (Spardha, Technex and Kashiyatra) that witnessed the participation of students from over 1500+ colleges and schools and top motivational speakers and celebrities.
Regarding placements stats of IIT BHU, top companies, and government organizations like DRDO, ISRO, IAF, Maruti, Bajaj, L&T, BHEL, HUL, IOCL, etc. visits campus for recruiting students. In 2019 a total of 109 students got placement from Mechanical Engineering with average salary package ranging between 10 LPA to 58.21 LPA. The average package offered in IIT Indore was around 16 LPA. Placements of IIT BHU has an edge over IIT Indore.
So, overall IIT BHU Mechanical is better than IIT Indore Mechanical.

Well, MSc in Physics is a great field to study. University of Hyderabad is a good academic institution but IIT Bhubaneswar is a better option as it offers religious academic programs, highly qualified faculties, and excellent research facilities.
- It is a two-year full-time academic program.
- The course fee for two years is around INR 26000 and a one-time admission of INR 17500 is required to be paid at the time of admission and the hostel fee is around INR 1.05 Lakhs.
- IIT Bhubaneswar is known for offering good placements to these students the median placement for MSc in physics is around INR 12.50 LPA.

Auro University is a renowned private university located in Surat, Gujarat. It is developed and promoted by the JHM group of hotels. The university offers a variety of Undergraduate and Postgraduate and Executive programs.

They receive many institutes from well-known colleges, but having a student from a lesser-known college can bring a unique perspective to the class.
Coming to the point of impact of college graduation at IIM Ahmedabad. Impact on various levels:

I am a second year B.Tech Mechanical Engineering student at IIT Bhubaneswar.
The professors in our department are outstanding. Besides possessing expertise in the fundamental concepts of this field, they have produced high-impact research papers on a variety of subjects.
As of now, the 2023-24 B.Tech Mechanical batch at IIT Bhubaneswar has recorded 94.34% placements. Presently, the highest package is INR 27 LPA, the 4th highest among all B.Tech branches. The average ctc is INR 11.96 LPA for B.Tech Mechanical. The placements will continue till the end of August 2024.

Although the ranking and placements of IIT Dhanbad are superior, the School of Mechanical Sciences at IIT Bhubaneswar has some of the best teachers and a rich course curriculum.
I would personally recommend you join Mechanical Engineering at IIT Bhubaneswar, but the choice is ultimately yours.
