For Marketing, IMT Ghaziabad is a slightly better choice. Around 40% of students got placed in the marketing sector during IMT Ghaziabad placements 2022. While the percentage of students getting placed in the marketing sector at XIMB is 14% only. According to the placement highlights, 7% of students from IMTG were recruited in FMCG sector. For XLRI, the corresponding figure was 4%.

For CSE, SRM is the better option. The academics, campus life, and facilities offered are good. Major recruiting companies such as Amazon, Honda, Cognizant, etc. recruit through the campus drive. There certainly are many differences between IIM Ahmedabad and IIT Bombay. IIT Bombay promotes freedom whereas IIM Ahmedabad teaches you accountability. IIT Bombay gives you the ability to dream whereas IIM Ahmedabad helps you change them. IITB is more generic in nature whereas IIMA focuses strictly on core concepts. Both carry equal importance in one’s life and one cannot be considered better than the other. They both are like two wheels of a vehicle indispensable to each other.

Ultimately, I would suggest you go for NIT if you want to pursue higher studies or core jobs while BITS Pilani is the best choice for CSE. 

This is a very subjective question. However, as a student of ECE at NIT Surathkal, I am writing down a few points in defense of my degree-

1. First of all, NIT Surathkal offers a much more complete and diversified engineering education. This is because you will get to interact with the students of various disciplines from around the institution. This will offer a good exposure in contrast to the IIITs which are entirely focused on CSE and ECE branches.

1. ECE is the branch of the future. CSE is turning more and more into a commodity. This is due to the dilution of its educational standards, and the increasing volume of students in this branch. 

1. As an ECE student, you can always learn programming (it is in fact a part of the curriculum in a limited manner). However, it is much more difficult to learn the concepts of ECE as a CSE student. 

1. As an ECE student you can be placed in a software company, but as a CSE student you can’t work in the E&C field. 

1. Both the colleges are good, but NITK holds more prestige because it is much older. Its campus is very impressive as well.

But even IIIT Bangalore CSE is a great option. Once you’ve made a decision, stop seeking others’ opinions. Instead, work on your skill enhancement. Considering the sheer lack of core jobs in the electronics sector in India and the huge placement opportunities in the IT sector, your choice is good from a placement point of view. 

It is a close call between SPJIMR and JBIMS. NMIMS is not in the same league as these but it is a decent B-School and ranked among the top 30 in India. JBIMS has the highest rank. Indiatoday 2021 ranked the institute 12 for MBA. 

JBIMS offers better ROI. Course fees for the institute are INR 6.05 Lakhs. While the average CTC for the institute is INR 27 LPA, according to JBIMS placements highlights of 2022. If you are interested in Finance, you should choose JBIMS. 

If you are interested in Marketing and Ops, you should go for SP Jain. 

No, VIT is not better than NITs at all. In fact, its a private engineering college so it will cost you much more than studying at a government college like NIT. Here is why I think NITs in general or NIT Durgapur, in particular, is better than VIT

• Although NITs have a reservation policy, it does not suck as much as the Management Quota at VIT that lets in a huge number of average students.
• The placement statistics clearly put NIT Durgapur ahead of VIT. 
• NIT Durgapur has a rich legacy and is highly reputed among recruiters. 
• You will get the advantage of the NIT tag and one can deny the fact that it does give you an edge over others
