Andhra University is a decent option for an MBA. It is well-recognized nationally and internationally. Although the infrastructure and facilities have room for improvement. Andhra University placements have been good over the recent years. Each year around 75% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is around INR 5.8 LPA. TCS, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HPCL, etc. are among the major recruiters that take part in campus recruitment.
Both are very popular institutions in India. NIT Andhra Pradesh carries a brand tag, which might prove to be beneficial further in your career. It will obviously be a better highlight in your resume than only Andhra University.
It is suggested that you opt for either NIT AP or Andhra University, whichever suits your requirements. Here’s mentioning some points that might help you select:
Ultimately it won't matter if you join NIT AP or Andhra University. The only thing that will matter is your dedication to your studies and how you enhance your skills to get success in your career.
Here are some of the reality checks that you can do on weekends.
Following are some more suggestions for you to plan out your weekends at the stay on campus.
You should make the best use of your weekends.
Osmania University is historical! OU is not only about placements or quality of education, but also about the value of that education you get during your study there.
You learn about the life, relations, and friends from different backgrounds and cultures. You'll have a broader perspective on social life, you will realize your good fortune on being here. Osmania University is probably one of the reasons for Telangana's achievements.
OU is in the centre of Hyderabad city, and beats many other private colleges located in far-off locations. There are many great places to hang out with friends, and the alumni are unparalleled. Don't miss a chance at experiencing the best!
According to the reviews by the students of Andhra University online, it should not and is not considered one of the best colleges for engineering in India.
They are known to have irregular classroom lectures with a very careless faculty. The syllabus is not updated and is not relevant to current industry trends. The infrastructure is poor and the maintenance of the labs is neglected.
Andhra University is infamous for its gradually degrading condition both of the campus and the academics offered there.
State Universities like JNTU, Osmania, and Andhra University are underrated for various reasons.
Mostly these are the reasons.
According to my friends studying at Andhra University, it is not upto the mark, a few IT companies visit the institute and a few core companies like Coromandel, Nagarjuna Fertilizer, ITC, and L&T.
Categories | Andhra University |
Course Fee | 40,000 |
Highest CTC | 6-8 LPA |
Average CTC | 3.5 LPA |
Recruiting Companies | TCS, ZS Associates, Bosch, IBM, etc. |
But then, the packages are not higher than INR 8 LPA, even the average package is not more than INR 3.5 LPA; but I guess it's the same in all State Universities because most of the major companies recruit majorly from NITs and IITs.
Students often feel that the placements are often exaggerated in AU. If you are from CSE, ECE, or IST, you will have more chances at reputed firms such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, FTD, IBM, Accenture, etc with packages ranging from INR 3-10 LPA. More than 75% of students get placed in campus hiring at the end of their graduation.
But if you are from any core branch-like chemical, mechanical, marine, etc, then you will be called for interview by some software companies offering packages less than INR 4 LPA. There are only a few chances for core placements and on average, you will be offered placement in between INR 3–6LPA.
The core companies visiting for recruitment from chemical engineering are AUROBINDO, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, GVK BIO, Deccan Companies, etc and all together they will recruit less than 20 students.
AU is the first university to start MBA in India, almost 65 years ago. It used to be one of the largest universities in the past.
It had the largest number of faculty in India with 60 professors. These days it offers specializations in Commerce and Management programs.
Despite all this, don't think MBA from Andhra University would bring any amount of satisfaction to you. It is suggested that you work hard and try to get into an elite B-school like IIM Ahmedabad, as they can provide you with the best industrial exposure.
As per most of the students, Andhra University is much better than ANITS. One of the reasons for this is that it is more than 90 years old and ANITS is just 15 years old.
Andhra University is well equipped, all the faculties are Ph.D. holders. There are so many branches. It is well known for its research and quality education. The institute will offer great exposure and placements to its students.
The university has a great alumni base as well. AU is definitely among the universities that are coming to the forefront in the country.
