I think opting for IIT Bhubaneswar for manufacturing is a better choice than IIT ISM Dhanbad as I happen to be a student of IIT Bhubaneswar myself.

The preference is always given to BITS Goa as it belongs to the most reputed family of BITS institute. One of my friends has studied there and he loves the campus from all aspects.
The major reasons as to why BITS Goa is to be preferred are:
Scope
Faculty
Campus
BITS Goa makes it a better option on all fronts whether its faculty, campus, or scope. Having this outlook will help you get to a good institute. The stream can be a point of interest but other factors also matter.
All of the options you've mentioned are reputable institutions with strong programs in their respective fields. However, the best choice for you will depend on your individual interests, goals, and priorities.
Lastly, my suggestion would be to target top NITs instead and not go for a mediocre branch. Additionally, you may want to reach out to current students or alumni of each institution to get a sense of their experiences.
Yes, it was confusing once, two years ago and now I can happily confess that I do not regret choosing IIT Gandhinagar over BITS-Pilani. Since I also have friends in both the colleges, I can provide a detailed overview of the good and bad aspects of the colleges.
Also, information on BITS might be limited due to it will depend mostly on other people’s experiences, but the answer will talk about the good and bad side of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Gandhinagar.
Following are the merits of IIT Gandhinagar:
One thing that students could miss at IIT Gandhinagar is the cultural fests and events. They don't have grand cultural fests of their own. This privilege was taken away by the seniors, which we were trying to rectify. But gratefully, we already have enough, so, that doesn't make us expect too much of these grand fests for ourselves.
Karunya University conducts an entrance (KEE) for B.Tech admission. For CSE, you will need a rank within 1,000. For reserved category students, the required cutoff is around 3,000. The eligibility criteria for the course is at least 60% in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from a recognized board.
Before giving you my opinion, let’s look at some statistics. India Today Engineering ranks KIET Ghaziabad at 148 out of 238, whereas NIRF Engineering ranks ABES Ghaziabad at 251-300 out of 300.
KIET is one of the top engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh. They have excellent professors who are distinguished PhD holders from reputed institutes.
The total cost for the 4-year BTech ECE course in KIET is INR 5.56 Lakhs. The placements of the ECE branch are also quite good. The overall placement percentage for 2023 is 90.95%. The average CTC is INR 5.10 LPA and the highest CTC is INR 18.15 LPA. You’ll have amazing internship opportunities as well.
According to me, BTech ECE at KIET will be a good option if you want affordability as well as quality education.
FISAT Kochi has been ranked at 96th for Engineering among Indian Engineering colleges, SCMS Cochin has been ranked 85th and Saintgits (SCE) is ranked in the bracket of 125-150 among Indian engineering colleges. All the above colleges are approved by the AICTE.

Accenture, Amazon, Bosch, Rolls Royce, MRF, Nila constructions, Indian navy, Infosys, TCS, Shobha developers, are some of the major recruiters at SCE. The college provided placements to around 70% of the students from the Civil batch last year.
After IITs and NITs, students will always prefer IIITs as they offer neck to neck competition to other institutes. IIIT Dharwad being recently established offers stiff competition to other IIITs. All three colleges claim to have placed more than 70% of its students. Facilities like well-ventilated hostel rooms, cafeteria, digital library, and scholarships to different categories.
Admission:
For admission into IIIT colleges, students need to appear for the JEE(Joint Entrance Exam) mains exams and get a good rank for the same. Admission is purely merit-based.
IIIT Manipur has 50 seats for both ECE and CSE branches. IIIT Dharwad has 75 seats in the ECE branch. IIIT Kottayam has 192 seats in the CSE branch and 48 seats in the ECE branch.
The required cutoff for the institutes is as follows.

IIIT Dharwad has a dedicated group of experienced faculty and many are yet to join the institute.
IIIT Manipur had 6 Assistant professors, professors, Ph.D. holders helping students in every field.
IIIT Kottayam is composed of experienced faculty for each branch as well as for research.
Well developed laboratories and computer centers are set up for the students of ECE and CSE students for these colleges.
Course fees:
The fee structure varies for different colleges depending on the facilities provided. The fee structure per year for BTech at these colleges is as follows.
IIIT Dharwad: INR 2,10,000
IIIT Manipur: INR 1,87,945
IIIT Kottayam: INR 1,35,000
Placement:
IIIT Dharwad showed a decent placement record of 94% in the recent statistics. The highest package offered was INR 11 LPA and the average was INR 7 LPA. Some of the top recruiters were Atria, Code, Greenock, Goldman Sachs, TCS.
IIIT Manipur being recently established could place only 17 out of 23 students in reputed companies. Because of the remote location, many corporate companies did not visit. But a surge in admission can be noticed this year.
The highest package offered at IIIT Kottayam was INR 10 LPA, and the average was INR 5 LPA. The placement percentage was 75%.
All the colleges above are recently established but still provide head-on competition to other institutes. The remarkable progress in the placement percentage, student admission, faculty is clearly visible. Students can opt for any of these colleges.
Yes, you can always change your stream even after graduation. In case you are genuinely interested in designing clothes or learning garment/fabric technology, you certainly can pursue a career in fashion design. Once you complete B Tech in engineering, you can pursue a postgraduate or master's degree in Fashion Technology or Design. The Fashion stream offers a variety of courses.
In case you want to pursue the course from any government design college you will have to pass the entrance exam conducted in order to enroll in NID or NIFT. Since you have no design background, private colleges like IILM University will suit you the best and you can also look for Universities that conduct their own entrance examination. I have listed down some options that will help you change your stream to Fashion and also pursue a postgraduate course in the same.
For other designing fields like interior designing and industrial designing, your BTech degree will be beneficial. Fashion Engineering is a highly sought-after profession these days. So don't hesitate to switch your stream and follow your profession.
