Studied at IIM A (2018)

One of my friends is a student of XLRI. It is a very famous business school which is located in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. They offer various management programs like HR, BM, Analytics, PGDM etc.

  • They conducted their own entrance exam XAT which you will need to clear in order to get admission to this college.
  • To be eligible for admission you will have to score at least 96 percentile in the XAT exam.
  • The competition is very high. The sectional cut-off marks for males and females are different but the overall percentile cut-off is the same.

Here are the cut off marks of XLRI for 2022 -

Section

BM

HRM

Male

Female

MBA BM, XLRI (2019)

One of my friends is an XLRI alumnus and here is what he had to say about this. Irrespective of any degree, your academic future will be a function of the following.

  • Guideline of a great academic network that would work along with very realistic expectations.
  • Regular research publications (and)
  • An articulation that is crystal clear and expressive.

As far as a difference in your FPM and Ph.D. degree is concerned, it doesn't really matter as of now.

Concerning your curiosity about the FPM program at XLRI, it is a subjective approach of each individual. Hope this helps.
