First of all look for the eligibility of the course that is B.Sc in Physics at Amity University. Currently, any student with a minimum of 50% marks in the 10+2 system and a minimum of 50% in Physics is required to be eligible to apply for the course at the university.

I scored less then 50% in 12th boards can I get into private bsc biotechnology college

Sapna Malik updated Posted On : December 14th, 2023

The minimum eligibility requirement for BSc. Biotech at an Indian college is having passed 10th and 12th with Physics, Biology/Maths and Chemistry as core subjects, and at least 50% overall (45% for SC, ST) and 60% in each of the core subjects in the 12th boards. Both PCM and PCB candidates can opt for BSc. Biotech.

Given that the eligibility criteria demands at least 50% in the 12th boards, it might not be possible for you to seek admission into BSc. Biotechnology at an Indian college.

But I would advise you to go through the eligibility criteria of some of the private colleges by visiting their official website.

B.Sc. Physics (Hons) from Swami Shraddhanand College,University of Delhi (2018)

I have a few friends from Swami Shraddhanand College. Based on their experience, it is a good option for pushing a B.Sc (Hons.) in Physics.

  • Placement at the institute is based on the experience that you gain through internships. Salaries in the placement drive are offered according to your skill and experience. Companies like ICICI Bank, HDFC, visit the campus for placements.
  • There is an internship cell on campus that helps students get internship offers.
  • The college also has a commerce department, that deals with activities related to business, marketing, etc.
  • The infrastructure of the institute is quite good. There are facilities like wifi, computer labs, smart classes, a library, etc.

Overall, Swami Shraddhanand College offers good placement and facilities for the Physics department.

Which is the best university to study UG course in chemistry zoology CU, BU, KU or WBSU?

SR
Saloni Ray, Posted On : October 20th, 2021
Studies at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) (2022)

One of my friends studied at Calcutta University, so I might be able to give you some details about it.

  • Calcutta University (CU) is one of the oldest functioning institutions in West Bengal.
  • It is popular among students.
  • In Calcutta, most of the colleges are affiliated with CU.
  • The one thing that every CU student is familiar with is their strict grading system.
  • Scoring even a 60% is very difficult. Some students even think this is a good enough score if you are a student of CU.
  • Nowadays top reputed MNCs also demand at least 60% to be able to sit for placements.

Finally, you should keep in mind that other mentioned universities may not be as old and experienced as CU, but they will show a bit of leniency while giving marks. So ultimately the decision is yours, whether you want to study in a reputed university with a strong and reliable alumni network or opt for the easier way out by getting admission to newer institutions.

Not many universities or colleges in India offer integrated B.Sc-B.Ed courses. If you want to pursue teaching as a profession, then doing a B.Sc-B.Ed integrated course will save you one year of coursework. The syllabus is almost the same. So, what matters more is the faculty. To know more about the course and faculty base, visit the department and talk to current students.

studied at Bethune College, Kolkata (2019)

Bethune College is one of the renowned colleges in West Bengal. As you have opted for B.Sc Economics One of my friends also studied at Bethune College, so I might be able to provide some tips about this:

  • Buy a last 5-year question or CBCS system previous year’s question as soon as possible.
  • Calcutta University tends to give the same question in an odd-even-year system. Solve those papers and prepare accordingly as 60% of the questions will be similar.
  • Make sure you utilize the profit of the online exam system. You can score 15-20% extra than offline exams.
  • After the regular college classes if you need extra guidance to go for a coaching centre suggested by your seniors.
  • Keep in touch with your seniors frequently, as they can guide you through a lot of things.

Lastly, as Bethune is a very strict college, try to enjoy your college life, maintain a good relationship with your teachers and work hard and study well to make a successful career.

What should I choose for a BSc in CS, Holkar Science College or Medicaps University?

KK
Khushi Khandelwal Posted On : July 19th, 2021
Studied at Aligarh Muslim University (2019)

The choice between Holkar Science and Medicaps University for a B.Sc. in Computer Science is difficult, but it can be made efficiently if your motivation and future plans are clear.

  • To put it simply, if you want to work in the government sector and B.Sc. is just a requirement for graduation, Holkar is the place for you.
  • I'm not blaming its quality, but you'll undoubtedly get a better atmosphere for government sector job preparation.
  • On the other hand, if you want your B.Sc. CS to be more practical and fruitful, consider doing it at Medi-Caps because, as a technical institute, it will certainly deal with more practical aspects.
Categories Holkar Science College Medi-Caps University
Course Fee 11,200 (1st year) 50,000 (1st year)
Highest CTC 6 LPA 8 LPA
Average CTC 2 LPA 3.5 LPA
Recruiting Companies TCS, Tech Mahindra, ITC, HCL, etc. TCS, Cognizant, IBM, Dell, etc.

Holkar science college is a government college, whereas Medi-Caps is a private college, but both are good universities. In the end, it all depends upon your career choice. So think precisely and then make the decision.
