Which one should I choose, NIT Kurukshetra or NIT Bhopal or IIIT Allahabad for an M.Tech in CSE?
Have known some people who have pursued M.Tech in CSE from NIT Kurukshetra, NIT Bhopal, and IIIT Allahabad. I can say that you can opt for IIIT Allahabad for CSE. Do not choose NIT Kurukshetra.
- At NIT Kurukshetra the examination cell is not good and placements are average.
- IIIT Allahabad is better in terms of placements, faculty, exposure, etc.
- At IIIT Allahabad, top companies like Infosys, Capgemini, Byju’s, Oracle, JP Morgan, TCS, IBM, Amazon, Jaro Education, etc. take part in their placement program.
- They also have an active coding culture.

IIIT Allahabad is a good choice for M.Tech in CSE. You can also go for NIT Bhopal which has a good placement record. But lacks a good teaching-learning process. So, It is suggested you go for IIIT Allahabad, as it will be the best option for you.
How was your interview at IIM IPM Rohtak?
My friend had an interview at IIM Rohtak. She was a commerce student with 95% in Class 10th and 93.8% in Class 12. It was an online interview conducted by two male panelists.
The interview started with her speaking about herself, her background, school achievements, extracurriculars, and hobbies. She told them her hobby was reading and they asked her about her recent reads. They asked her the following questions
- What is more important to you: Money or Happiness?
- As a student of economics, consider a situation where all the countries have the same currency. Explain the advantages and disadvantages of the situation?
- What if there is a different currency in every state of India. Explain the consequences.
- Name any two women entrepreneurs?
- Who is the governor of MP?
- Who is the Chief Justice of India?
Apart from the last question she was able to answer all and thankfully was able to convert the call.
The truth is IPM interviews are of Class 12 pass outs so are just limited to their knowledge. They mainly test your academic questions and basic knowledge of current issues. All you need to do is be confident and succeed!

Is PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh good?
After IITs, PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh is the best option in North-India. The university has a decent faculty base. You can get their help regarding any problem related to academics. PEC offers good facilities and resources. The campus is equipped with high-speed internet.
It has a good placement record. PEC Chandigarh placements 2021 ended with an average CTC of INR 10.83 LPA. Some of the major recruiters that took part in the placements were Airtel, Microsoft, Google, American Express, etc.
PEC has a pretty active club culture. Other than technical clubs, there are clubs for music, debate, music, dance, art, photography, etc.
How is Campus life at IGIT sarang? And what is the best branch (in terms of teaching standards)?
The campus life of IGIT Sarang is not that great. So, it is better to keep the standards low. The campus is around 379 acres. The residential part of the campus is covered by 179 acres, situated nearby the Brahmani river. The additional 200 acres are left unused for future expansion projects. The experience of students in the initial years is discussed below.
- In the initial years, the students find the campus dull and complain about it. After a year, with the increasing familiarity, they start loving it. There are strict rules and time deadlines for girls. After 7 pm, girls are not allowed to roam around. They should be within the hostel.
- Students spend most of the time at chowk, food courts, canteen or cafeteria. These are the hot-spots to hang out with friends and relax.
- Students get bored of campus within a couple of months. The reason is that the campus is isolated from the outside world. Everyone from IGIT is living within a radius of 5 km.
- The campus life revolves around friends. They are the best companions and even politics.
- Computer science is the best branch here. It interestingly organizes its branch events
Life in IGIT Sarang is not easy, yet it is fun.
How is the daily life in MICA, Ahmedabad in terms of food, hostel and its timings, etc?

IGNOU: How long does it take for TEE results to come out?
At IGNOU, results are announced at fixed times for every program. The usual range of time is 1-3 months. IGNOU states the result declaration is 45 days from the end of exams. But most of the time, it's 60-65 days. The maximum time period is 3 months.
Use the link for the IGNOUs result page to keep a track of your result.It is possible that your result has been declared but not updated on the IGNOU website. This is because they update at regular intervals of time. You will have to check the result daily and wait patiently.
IGNOU also has a provision for on-demand results. You can get the results earlier than the official declaration. A certain amount of fee is applicable for the same.
How is Reva University in Banglore for B.Tech?
Your chances of growth get lowered at Reva University. If you have a good rank, consider other colleges.
- The university has invested a lot in marketing and that is why there’s hype outside.
- Opt for colleges that have a lot of clubs and committees and focus gives importance to cultural activities as well. REVA University lacks this. This will not only develop your personality but also improves your CV.
- It is a deemed university and the curriculum is not much updated. You will get less opportunities at the university
- The student crowd is not good, and the people of the college are not cooperative at all.

If you take admission here, you will regret your decision for sure. This is coming after all the frustration of the students due to lack of exposure, and the education it failed to provide.
Should I go for BCA from IGNOU?
You can go for a BCA from IGNOU, if you are really interested in coding and you can learn through self-study. The classes are usually for doubt clearing. You will have to study the materials on your own. The faculties will clear your doubts through weekend classes. IGNOU BCA curriculum is designed according to the international level. The course work includes a lot of assignments, most of your semester will go into completing these. Although it’s a distance learning course, you will need to work hard to score decent marks.
If you heavily rely on the teacher then this course isn’t a good fit for you.
What is life after PGDIE from NITIE?
PGDIE opens various opportunities in different areas like industrial engineering, industrial design, Supply chain, and operations management. After completion of this course, you can expect yourself to be working at one of the top companies in India.
Most of my friends got placed in an FMCG company and are currently working in different domains. You will be given challenging projects every now and then. This will groom you for a business scenario. A good college will not guarantee a high-paying job in a top company, but it will only provide you with the best academics and exposure you will need in securing that job.
Working in an FMCG company will make your presence realize whenever you find your designed product in a supermarket. You will work hard enough to deliver the right product at right time.
Maintain very good academic records and prepare hard enough to get a job in a top company that offers very good opportunities and facilities to its employees, then your life after PGDIE can be great.
