If you are expecting a magnificent campus that will leave you in awe with its beauty and infrastructure then you can lower your expectations because NIT Jamshedpur is nothing like that. You might even get disappointed with the campus on your very first day. However, the administration is slowly working to bring about small changes in the campus and infrastructure.

• The hostel facilities are the best in the country especially since the new Mega Hostels offering single occupancy rooms have come into function. The hostels are well-maintained and are cleaned regularly to ensure hygienic conditions. The mess food is also better than many others.
• Although the campus is remotely located, the basic needs and amenities of the students are catered to by nearby stores like ‘NIT Store’ or ‘Shyam Da Store’.
• The campus is surrounded by lush greenery. The roads leading to the campus are well-constructed making the commute an easier process. 

Overall, the campus and surroundings of NIT Jamshedpur are great and once you start studying here you will grow emotionally attached to the campus such that its minor flaws won’t even matter.

The previous year's NIT Kurukshetra papers are not available on the Internet. You have to visit the college library personally and use the college network.

One of my friends chose to pursue medicine from PGIMS Rohtak. The academic ambiance and the passion of the students here motivated him a lot. He felt like the college had become his second home. He learned many new things every day. He enjoyed studying Anatomy and the Art of dissection although he struggled initially. He was always regular to the lectures. 

He feels extremely lucky to be a part of PGIMS Rohtak which brought him one step closer to his dream. 

The timetable of Mithibai College FYJC is given below:

• Each lecture is 40 minutes. 
• The lectures usually start around 1:10 PM and continue till 3:50 PM.
• After that you have a break for 30 minutes and then lectures resume from 4:20 PM to 5:40 PM.
• For the commerce stream some classes have lectures till 6:20 PM two days a week, depending on their second language.
• For the Arts stream, they usually have lectures till 5:00 PM.
• Science students have lectures in the morning, from 7:00 AM.

They put a lot of pressure on students for a 75% attendance. If you are unable to fulfill that, you will not be allowed to sit for the examinations.

It is not possible to manage your M.Tech solely with your stipend.

Given that you score 6.75 CGPA each semester, you’ll be given Rs. 12,400 per month as stipend. The M.Tech tuition fee can be broken down in the following manner-

1. Sem 1- Rs. 52,000 (out of which, around Rs. 5000 is refundable)
2. Sem 2- Rs. 40,100
3. Sem 3- Rs. 40,100
4. Sem 4- Rs. 45,100

You’ll have to pay Rs. 1,77,300 for tuition. If you opt for hostel, its total fee will be around Rs. 1,28,000. You’ll be refunded around 20,000 from this amount. So overall, you’ll be spending Rs. 305,300. In 24 months, you’ll earn around Rs. 2,97,600 (if you take only 30 leaves and do regular biometric as suggested by MHRD). 

If you opt for a hostel, the total fee will be much higher than your stipend. Thus, it won’t be possible to manage without extra financial support.

My brother also filed an online anti-ragging affidavit recently. He too was confused because he was asked to fill the batch size although he hadn’t even started attending the classes. He randomly wrote 60 only to realize later that it was just a formality. Students need to focus on other details while filling out this form like their email ID, your name, your father's name, Institute to which they are getting admitted. Once you fill in all these details correctly you will receive a mail consisting of 4 pdf files namely:

1. Anti-ragging undertaking by the student.
2. Anti-ragging undertaking by parent/guardian.
3. Summary of UGC regulations
4. Summary of the judgment of the Hon. Supreme Court.

All you need is the anti-aging undertaking of your parent or guardian and yours. Get this typed on a non-judicial stamp paper and then get it attested by a notary and submit it to the college.

Thapar University Fees depend on a number of factors including the specific course,  specialization, and hostel choices. The fees for the B.Tech program offered by Thapar University fall in the range between INR 1,95,300 and INR 2,38,600 Per Semester depending on the specialization.

This sum may be a bit on the high end for students coming from middle-class families. You will be glad to know that Thapar University offers a variety of scholarships for students on the basis of both means as well as merit. Some scholarships even waive 100% of your tuition fees.

Additionally, a number of educational loans are offered with low-interest rates by many banks. Thapar University is rated in the A list of many banks that offer loans up to 30 Lakhs that too without any collateral. Anyone who studies hard and gets a good job can pay back the loan easily.
