What is your review of Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur?
Every IIM boasts of top-notch infrastructure, talented peers in the batch, industry connection, pedagogy, etc. However, there are various aspects that set apart IIM Udaipur from other IIMs. Some of these are
- Customized programmes like Rural Immersion, Global Immersion
- The highly esteemed faculty which help in the holistic development of students.
- Students are made to organize and run various clubs/committees and summits inculcating leadership skills in them.
- Live projects and entrepreneurial initiatives made to the classroom learnings.
- IIM Udaipur administration including the Director, transparency, accountability, and approachability makes it unique among other IIMs
Despite having multiple converts, my sister chose IIM Udaipur and has no regrets to date.
How does NIT Trichy have 95% placement? Even IITs don't have that much?
The reason why NITs unlike other institutions are having more placements in comparison to IIT’s is due to their quality of students has increased in the market.
- NIT has rich Research and development equipment and these things allow the recruiters to hire more candidates. But it cannot be said that IIT students have fewer placements than NIT.
- Another reason for good placements at NIT Trichy is because of its location as it is nearer to Bangalore and Chennai and companies find it convenient to visit here.
- It also depends upon the placement service of NIT. NIT Trichy also screens its candidates before sending them for campus placements.
- Those sitting for their placements have to undergo placement exams in their third year. These exams are conducted by the final year students of your respective branch. Those who get 60% or above 60% in their placement exams are allowed to appear in the campus placements.
One of my friends suggested that computer science students get much better placements in comparison to other branches. The average package is INR 6lacs per annum and the highest package to date is 90 lacs per annum.
How is the student life at IIFT Delhi and Kolkata?
Life at IIFT Delhi and IIFT Kolkata isn’t much different than any other B-Schools in the country. The first trimester will go by in a blur with multiple assignments, guest lectures, summer placement prep, etc. IIFT follows a regular schedule. There may be days with classes from 9 am to 9 pm. You will need to do your assignments, prepare case studies, study for quizzes, and also do extra-curricular activities.
Life outside academics is more fun in Delhi. There are more places to explore nearby the campus.
What is Nowrosjee Wadia College in Pune like?
One of my friends experienced her junior college at Nowrosjee Wadia College, Pune. Given her experience, she can shed light on the topic in a well-defined way. She belonged in the Humanities section.
Here is what she has to say,
- The professors of the humanities departments are both helpful and easy-going. They are experienced and have good knowledge about their fields of expertise.
- Submission of assignments and projects in the Science stream can cause inconvenience if you fail to submit them on time. The odds are, you might not get in touch with the professor again.
- Maintaining good attendance is not particularly mandatory, but it is suggested that you attend the lectures once every week to keep pace with the syllabus.
- There are professors who are not well equipped with the English language. This can sometimes cause problems in them delivering the lectures.
- Several language lectures such as Hindi, German, Sanskrit, etc are generally conducted along with the students of the Science streams.
- The canteen area is massive and is usually common for every sister institution of the campus like Ness Wadia College, Cusrow Wadia College, and more. The hygiene, however, can slightly be an issue due to several reasons.
- Speaking about the office staff, you might face more than one issue if you cannot communicate in their local language, which is Marathi.
- There are facilities related to hostels. However, in some cases, the food and water facilities can be quite unfavorable. The living conditions are adequate otherwise. The library is well-structured too.
- There’s a wide variety of subject electives. Besides, there are CCA activities regularly held and a yearly fest.

What is the current scenario of placements in the CST department of IIEST Shibpur?
According to the students of IIEST Shibpur, placements at IIEST Shibpur have been very good since the year 2018 and maintaining that till now.

- There were mass recruiters like TCS, CTS, Wipro, IBM and other companies who visited the campus and recruited many students.
- The companies participating include Digital Dynamics, Acclaris India, Atrena Circuits , Cadence, Texas Instruments, Adobe, Samsung R&D, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley visited the campus for interviews and recruited many students.
Many major IT companies have been visiting the campus every year for interviews and recruiting many students with decent packages
Is IGNOU a good university?
Yes. IGNOU is definitely not just a degree-making university. The quality of study materials is pretty good and it’s not easy to pass the exams. This makes it not the best but a pretty good university. Also, don’t forget the fact that it's the world's largest open university.
IGNOU is a well-reputed and recognized university. The degrees are also favourably accepted for employment posing no problem due to distance learning.
Another benefit one can avail from IGNOU is its affordable fee structure. You can spend only INR 50,000-60,000 on your graduation and still get placed at a major MNC. Ultimately it’s up to you to decide if the university is good or bad
What has been the recent average package for delhi school of economics?
According to the highlights of Delhi School of Economics placements, the average CTC offered is INR 10.57 LPA.

How is Lovely Professional University for Engineering?
My sister completed her BTech ECE from LPU in 2018. She was placed in BSH Bosch Home Appliance in the 3rd year of BTech and she didn't have to study for the 4th year as she got placed early and went for her training.
From her experience, LPU is quite good. I will mention the points in favour of her statement:
1. LPU Placements
Top MNCs and organizations like Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and Cognizant Technology have visited the LPU campus for placement in the recent years. Students got placed at CTCs of stirking INR 3 crore (Yasir M.) and INR 1 crore, the highest package is INR 42 LPA.
One thing she highlighted was the fact that LPU focused on placement assistance and mentoring. They take soft skills and training classes before the placement season.
2. Internships and Industry Immersion
University offers ‘industry immersion’ facility to the students. LPU has collaborated with major companies and students have gained the experience and exposure by interning in companies like ISRO, Infosys, Microsoft, Cognizant and many more.
3. Campus Facilities
The security measures are strict in the campus. The residential facilities are also good.
4. Academics and Curriculum
Students get to work on live industry-relevant projects. The additional lectures and workshops help students enhance their existing knowledge.

Yes, it’s definitely worth studying Civil Engineering at NIT Surathkal. It’s a tier 1 NIT offering premium education to aspiring civil engineers and construction professionals. Here is why I strongly recommend you to join this college.

What is the expected cutoff for a B.Com (Hons) in Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration?
For getting into the admission process of Goenka College of Commerce and Business Administration, you are supposed to score 90% or above in your best four subjects in the 12th examination.
However, for admission in the morning slot, you are expected to score 93% or above in the best subjects, while for the day section slot, it is about 85% to 93% in the best four electives.
