Which is better among IIIT Bangalore (IMTech) or PES University (B.Tech in CS) in terms of placements and quality of education?
Here is some information on this subject-
PESU offers good placements for B.Tech CS. But because of a very large batch size, its average package comes down. The top 100 B.Tech CS students of PESU easily grab a package of 10 LPA+.
But IIITB is a better choice. It offers better faculty, peer group, placements, etc. Though PESU has a large campus, a lot of it is under construction.
I would recommend you choose iMtech at IIIT Bangalore, especially if you are not planning for a Masters’ abroad.

I will always suggest you give preference to the branch over the college. NIT Jalandhar and NIT Raipur are better colleges for CSE than NIT Patna and NIT Silchar.
