Is there any value of doing MBL (Masters of Business law) from NLSIU, Bangalore?
If you are looking at the course from the perspective of its acceptability in the industry, then honestly it does not rank very high in the list. It can not be even fully considered a proper Masters in Law degree. One of my friends studied it and here’s what she has to say about it.
- Masters in Business Law (MBL) is not a full-time LLM course. You cannot take UGC-NET on the basis of this degree.
- It is quite an expensive course. Not only the course fees but they take additional fees like Rs. 500 for each subject. They have a continuation fee of Rs. 2500.
- The books suggested are also not elaborate enough to learn about the course. They lack content.
- There is no transparency in checking answer sheets. If you want your answer sheets rechecked, it will cost you Rs.800 for each paper.
Therefore it is recommended that you do not opt for this course, as it is not an LLM course. The only thing credible about it is the tag you receive from NLSIU.

What AIR should I get to get into IIT Madras?

Is PTU a good university?
As a university, PTU is good enough but if you want to take other aspects into account such as the campus, then keeping your options open would be a good idea. Someone I know has completed her MBA from PTU and in her opinion, the institute is entirely immersed in academics which is not bad per se but there are hardly any extra-curricular activities and events going on. The faculty is also subpar in their abilities.
In the case of engineering, the students are known to memorize everything instead of understanding the concept. There are always exceptions, though. The placement scenario in PTU is also not that great. The average CTC offered at the institute is 5 LPA. However, the colleges under PTU are more popular than the main campus.
What are IIIT Allahabad IT Placement Statistics?
IIIT Allahabad consistently attains impressive placements in its IT branch. It gives a tough competition to gen. 2 IITs in this respect.
The B.Tech and D.D. IT students attained praiseworthy placements this year. 95.76 % placements were achieved at the highest CTC of INR 82.50 LPA, and an average CTC of INR 34.66 LPA. The median CTC stood at INR 30 LPA. Google, Code Nation, Samsung and Flipkart were among the top recruiters.
This college is worth considering for your B.Tech IT degree. According to me, It is the best choice after the top 3 NITs.
Is it advisable to leave your 6-LPA job and join IMT Ghaziabad marketing PGDM?

While it may be tempting to take a high-paying job in the short term, an advanced degree such as an MBA from a reputable institution can open doors to even more opportunities and higher earning potential in the long run.
IMT Ghaziabad is a good institution that offers a strong value proposition, even though it may not be considered a top institution compared to IIM or ISB. It is still considered a reputable institution in India and an MBA from IMT Ghaziabad can open many doors for students. However, it's important to keep in mind that this decision ultimately depends on your personal career goals and aspirations. It's best to weigh your options and consider which path aligns best with your long-term career aspirations.
What is the scope of instrumentation & control engineering in NIT Trichy placement-wise?
NIT Trichy placements are good for Instrumentation & Control Engineering. Microsoft, P&G, Reliance Industries, etc. are some of the major recruiters that take part in the placement drive. The highest CTC offered to the students of this branch is around INR 40-50 LPA. Around 65-70% of students also get internship opportunities.
What would be a better option between BIT Mesra BTech IT branch and IIITM Gwalior 5 year IPG IT course considering the fact that I have no problem with 4 years or 5 years?
The best choice will be to pursue a five-year IPG from IIITM Gwalior. The reasons are below.
- There are two programs in IPG. One is IMT (IPG M. Tech) with 119 intake seats, and another is IMG (IPG MBA) with 69 intake seats. Since 2017, the institute has had a strict batch for IT+MBA, unlike before. In the past, students who failed to get a decent CGPA had no option except to take MBA after the third year and they were not allowed to take M.Tech. This is the reason, the placement statistics for the program may look average. However, the situation has changed.
- IIITM Gwalior has an excellent alumni base. Even some of the recruiters coming for campus placement have a history with the college.
- Some students even have cracked Google Summer of Code (GSOC), and most get an internship in their first year.
