What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students in Chennai Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management?

I try to impart the best resources for my students to achieve their dreams in today’s competitive work environment. My responsibility is to contribute to the development of students and campus. It is helpful for society and academics at the same time.


How do you tend to establish healthy relations with students and fellow faculty?

“Develop a friendly environment and interact with everyone”

Several committees work for the functioning of the university to ensure the best education for our students. We create a friendly environment with interaction with all members on campus. It leads to collective growth for all.


How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects and make it industry oriented?

“Raise the learner-centric courses, training and skills for students”

I always ensure knowledge about the latest developments in the hospitality sector towards students. We decided to raise learner-centric courses, training and skills for them. All these improve the technical and practical approach of students in learning.


What are the best practices offered by the department to the students which help them gain necessary skills?

“Expanded access to experiential learning activities for my students”

There is no doubt that the best way to build students’ credentials or to help them make an informed choice about a future career is to increase their opportunities to take part in experiential learning opportunities. Internships, mentored research, practices and field-based learning experiences, service learning, and study abroad all help students clarify their educational and career goals and build their skills.


What are your views upon the placements and higher education about the students from Chennai Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management?

“Ensure training, skills and opportunities in Pan India & International for students”

New policies and practices are upcoming in the hotel industry each day. We prepare students for higher education and their placements. They get training to secure placements and competitive exams. How do you help students to cope up with the competition being so high in the outside world?

What are the challenges you faced to uplift the quality of education of Chennai Amirta International Institute of Hotel Management?

“Understanding of subjects for students and uplift of quality in faculties”

The Hospitality Management course comprises various courses and candidates from different fields take admission. Some students face difficulties in understanding subjects and it raises the pressure on faculties. Faculties face some difficulty to uplift students in some cases.
