Prof Beas Bhadra is the Professor of the Chaibasa Engineering College, Chaibasa, Jharkhand. He did Bsc in Computer Science from WBUT, Msc in NIT Durgapur and PhD from NIT Rourkela.

What are your roles and responsibilities towards the students in Chaibasa Engineering College?

“To impart good technical knowledge and ethical values for pupils are my great roles”

Being a part of Chaibasa Engineering College, I am accountable to make my students good professionals. It makes them aware of the latest industrial technologies so that they can find a suitable job as per their qualifications.

What do you see as the college’s greatest strengths and how it can be enhanced?

“Faculties, a good education system and excellent trainers are our greatest strengths”

The biggest strength of the International school of management is its own mission and vision. The availability of a good education system, recruitment of excellent trainers, development of the best environment and accelerating the education system of Bihar is the exact mission of it. To enhance the strength, we should believe in its belief and at the same time contribute our fullest. It can prepare the roadmap easily.

What are the challenges you faced to uplift the quality of education of the Chaibasa Engineering College?

“To recognize the difference between acceptance and learning is a great challenge for campus”

The biggest challenge of today is education quality. Another one is to recognize the difference between learning and accepting. Children start their studies but do not understand it properly. They forget the difference between how they learn and how much duration of time they take to learn. So to bridge this gap, educating those students in the right way is a challenge facing the department.

How do you try to bring in a practical approach towards subjects and make it industry oriented?

“To gain industry focus through practical skills and classes for students”

Practical skills of education can train their students and gain industry focus. Being industry-focused means two things. One is keeping up with the industry and involving the industry. In addition to keeping up with current trends, our technologies and implementing these into the daily classes. We invite smart people from the industry to do workshops with our students and teaching staff. By doing so, we get fresh ideas and inspiration to improve the practices of the classroom.

What do you see as the college’s greatest strengths and how it can be enhanced?

“Work as a team and students are our greatest strengths”

Our major strength is that we all are motivated to work as a team and train students. So, they can face any hurdles in the future. At CEC, we always feel that the students should be upgraded looking forward to new changes and groundbreaking stories unfolding. At the same time, we instill all the moral values in our students equally like patriotism, honesty, etc. So, they become better citizens too.

What are the challenges you faced to uplift the quality of education of Chaibasa Engineering College?

“Pupils did not want to study is the greatest challenge faced by us”

To uplift the quality of education, I have to ensure that all the students are working smartly to achieve the goal. Some of the challenges I faced in the earlier days of my profession is they did not want to study at all which now improved significantly.

What valuable advice would you like to the students to have a prosperous career ahead?

“Be yourself and grow every day for your future”

Never be yourself and being yourself is a myth. Always try to better yourself. Make yourself worthy of your success. If you are too comfortable in your job or in your career, you won’t think of setting new goals. Challenge yourself every single day. Career should always be an incremental graph, not a stagnant one. So does your life and grow every day.
