What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“It is important to scale up the vision of students with diverse interests”

The principal/Administrator should fill the gap existing between the student’s corporate requirements and knowledge. Nowadays, youth are searching for entrepreneurship more than employability. In my opinion, the colleges should arrange industry interaction programs to assist students in understanding organizational functioning and expectations, along with new opportunities for budding entrepreneurs.

What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“A clear vision with clear communication is what I believe in”

The educational administrator should build trust with the fellow faculties, motivate others with a shared vision, and effectively communicate how our Professional development, new initiatives, and any other everyday practice align with that shared vision. One should connect with internal and external networks and partnerships to take the institution to a higher level.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see, both for higher education in general and for School of Physiotherapy, P P Savani University specifically?

“There is a lack of digital modes available in rural areas as the education has turned digital”

In the current COVID 19 crisis, education has gone digital; however, access to smartphones and the internet is still very limited in some regions, predominantly rural areas. It is a challenge for academicians to effectively use technology and blend Learning Management systems for lectures' emphatic delivery. How administrators and teachers respond to this challenging time will decide the future of higher education. Every discipline of the education sector faces distinct challenges when it comes to the online mode of learning. Courses that have a laboratory component will need to be redesigned. The rural student might face more challenges as compared to urban students due to a lack of resources.
