What are the key factors that have kept you connected with the education sector?

We see the transformation of our students and their success, to drive inspiration from it. This is the main factor for my association with the education sector. It has motivated me to help students and my colleagues to excel in their career.

What do you think your responsibilities are towards the institute and the students are?
“Providing quality and relevant education to the maximum number of learners”
I make sure that I am approachable for any kind of advice and help the students clarify their doubts immediately. With my experience, I contribute to all kinds of teaching and learning processes. Also, guiding universities in developing policies and infrastructure for connecting teaching with industry and marketplace. We have to ensure that the Institute is run most economically and high standards are set.
What do you think should be the Institute's top priority over the next 10 years?
“Attract and retain top-level educationists and expand the presence of institute”
Our priority will be to continue keeping the lead that we have in hospitality education. Also, to attract the best talent in terms of faculties and students. In the next 10 years, I would be looking at some expansion plans in the other cities, as well.
What do you think that people should know about your Institute that they might not know?
“A special job fair for students of this field conducted every year”
The institute takes pride that for the past three years, we have been conducting a unique event called ‘Jobothon’. Under this event, more than 50 companies come for recruitment and we welcome students for placement, on a Pan-India basis. This gives an opportunity for students from all over to come and seek career opportunities. More than 1200 students benefit from this every year.
