NCHMCT JEE 2020: Seats for IHM Admissions 2020 Increased


National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology JEE 2020 on its official website notified about an increase in admission seats for Hotel management courses. Accordingly, Seats are increased in every college accepting the NCHMCT JEE 2020 scores. Around 1,182 seats have been increased for the fresh batch.

Through NCHMCT JEE 2020 exam, eligible aspirants can enroll themselves in Hotel management courses in different institutes accepting the NCHMCT JEE score.

NCHMCT JEE 2020: Change in number of seats

The total seats offered under NCHMCT JEE 2020 have increased to 12,697 from 11,515. Based on the merit list, the administration will offer admission to all 12,697 seats in respective courses.

At present there are 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management (CIHM) and 25 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management (SIHM), one Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) and 24 Private Institutes of Hotel Management.

NCHMCT JEE 2020: Seat allotment

NCHM JEE 2020 Seat allotment procedure is regulated in two rounds. NCHMCT JEE first round counseling and allotment of the seat was conducted on September 15, 2020 around 4:00 p.m. 

The second round NCHMCT JEE Counselling for allotment of seats is to be conducted on September 29, 2020 by 4:00 p.m. 

Based on the NCHMCT JEE rank, category and choice of institutes, seats are allotted to candidates. Accordingly, after allotment of seat and fee payment, students will be sent provisional allotment letters on their registered email id.
