Mr Vineet Diwakar is the Assistant Professor at Anjali College of Pharmacy and Science, Agra. He has completed his M.Pharm in 2019 and is a disciplined educationist. His research work is based in the area of Identification and Evaluation of Adenine Amino Hydrolase inhibitors through an in-silico approach in Leashmania donovani. He aims to foster an environment where the student has many opportunities to learn and grow.
What has been your vision long-standing for this College?

My vision was to make it an institute of repute where education, research and innovation meets the needs of the community. I am trying to achieve it through several initiatives like getting live projects from the industry, getting consultancies from industries, signing MoUs with various industries and academic institutions.
How does the curriculum of Anjali College of Pharmacy ensure the best practice of industry?

Anjali College of Pharmacy provides excellent infrastructure, laboratory, practical training and computer skills to the students. This knowledge and experience students can utilize in the best practice of the industry. Despite having a comprehensive syllabus, the department regularly identifies the gaps in the curriculum with the help of various faculty members and other stakeholders. The gaps are identified by taking expert advice from Academia and Industry persons through various surveys, Alumni Interaction, and Feedback.
Do you have any extracurricular activities to enhance the skills of the students?
“We encourage students to participate actively in special programs and activities”
Yes, I had the opportunity to organize a few workshops and seminars on Computer-Aided Drug Design and new drug development for students. It is a highly growing field of Pharmacy. Faculties work on the all-around development of students which includes training the students for placements, enhancing the skills of the students with extra-curricular and co-curricular activities and expose students to real-world challenges.

I encourage my colleagues for their professional development and remain abreast with the latest trends and developments in the field. I try to keep their motivation levels high and duly appreciate everyone for their contributions. I have a very cordial relationship with the staff and students of ACPS.

Anjali College of Pharmacy and Science was established by Dr. R.N. Gupta Technical Educational Society for imparting education and research facilities in different disciplines of Pharmacy. ACPS Agra is a pioneer in pharmacy. The College is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), Govt. Of India and is affiliated to Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.
