The education sector gives immense experience for a student to mature and serve the society 

I am serving this industry for over 25 years and I find it very challenging and inspiring. Our country has one of the largest demographics in the world with a large percentage of young population. The profession gives immense satisfaction, as I feel I am able to serve the society for the greater good. Students come from different strata of the society and there is so much to learn from them. No other industry can educate you so much as this and help you grow as an individual.


Leaders envision the road of success ahead and make others walk on the same path

A leader should always build confidence and stand beside his / her team. At the same time the leader should derive the best from their team even, if individual members are unaware of their potential. In the beginning the member may feel slightly challenged but at the end, they will realize the efforts. If a leader can successfully achieve this, no one can stop the organization to reach great heights.


My leadership style is a mixture of firmness and flexibility

I maintain an appropriate balance aiming towards the growth and benefit of the organization. Though I had to face many challenges, which I have overcome partially, still I have a lot to learn. I feel certain discipline is required to run an organization, which is lacking today.

It is a daunting task to keep one motivated 

I have faced a lot of challenges particularly due to the adverse work culture in this part of the country. People here generally want to deliver the minimal and have no desire to grow. Since one can only motivate the team by setting a live example, I have constantly tried to work harder and harder so that my team gets inspired to do the same.


The curriculum is designed to provide industry relevant exposure to the students 

The curriculum has been designed in concurrence with industry experts and students are provided with practical training and field exposure. Also, in the new CBCS curriculum, theoretical teaching has been replaced with self-learning in the form of projects and assignments. We at JDBI feel that if the child knows the technique of self-learning, he / she is ready to face challenges and we are satisfied that we have prepared them for life.


Students should have desire to dream and excel in their lives 

As per my opinion, the Student must possess integrity and have compassion for others in the society. They must have a desire to dream and excel. Also, there is no substitute for hard work, so the students should be hard and smart workers to achieve his / her dream.


We aim to maintain a healthy relationship with students by creating a mutual understanding and interaction 

I believe that a healthy relationship with students involves a lot of interaction and understanding. We try our level best to expose them to a number of platforms so that they can learn about various facets of life. I always tell my team to be available for the students so that they can share the issues that they are facing, and we can help them in mitigating the same so that they achieve desired results.


We have instilled a progressive attitude in the students by motivating them to carry spirit of entrepreneurship 

Although we provide placement opportunities, most of our students are not much inclined for placements. Students are however provided worthwhile exposure which will help them in their business. The spirit of entrepreneurship is instilled in them in order to overcome all challenges. We want our students to be progressive and do something meaningful rather than get accustomed to live a passive lifestyle.

We are coming up with new initiatives that will provide a cutting edge to our institution 

There are several programs in the anvil which include an Incubation centre for developing business start-ups by the students; Designing and launching a Post Graduate Programme in Management. The Institution envisages to organize more value-added programmes for the students in partnership with renowned knowledge partners through National and International Collaborations. Faculty members are encouraged to publish their own books and other original research works. Also, we look forward to initiating Ph.D. programmes in the Institute for certain courses.
