What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Education is a process of continuous learning”

It has been around two decades that I am in the education sector. Along this education journey, the changing dynamics of Learning and Development (L&D) is noteworthy. The importance of pervasive learning, along with the trans-disciplinary skills and approaches to understanding, is one such example of the changing dynamics of L&D. Today’s environment is driven by curiosity and innovations wherein young minds are the key game-changers. Equitable education for all is what it should be because education gives empowerment. It provides a healthier lifestyle; it leads to a path to progress and even connects borders. One has to be a LifeLog Learner to understand the essence of education truly.


What is your philosophy of leadership? How would you describe your leadership style?

“My leadership philosophy is to influence and guide people working in the educational setup”

The quality of educational leadership influences and guides a broad spectrum of educators in an organizational setting. I believe entirely in teamwork wherein self-learning and delivery would be the fundamental approach between the continuum of “to educate and get educated.” Learning and delivering becomes crucial amidst the micro and macro environmental components in the current educational framework. I believe in the work culture wherein every member participates cohesively towards achieving a common goal while respecting every member’s self-esteem through Rewards and Recognitions (R&R) platforms. 


Top qualities that a student must possess?

“Students should be open to learn from various sources of knowledge”

According to me, the following are the very important qualities that every student must possess:It is pivotal to have thirst and commitment to learn and grow. Also the learning must be shared with others to build a prosperous learning environment. Also, having a focused goal in the early days of their college life will help them in reaching their goals faster.

How do you look to build a healthy relationship with the students?

“An open source of communication build healthy relations”

In my opinion, keeping the channels of communication open always will lead to a healthy relationship between a teacher and a student. Also, remaining accessible and approachable will help develop a reliable and healthy relationship with the students. I always advise my fellow teachers to be a good and understanding friend but never invade the students' personal space.

“The perfect blend of teachers and professionals at SKFGI develops students' ability to think critically, rationally, and communicate effectively in creating highly trained professionals. The Industry-Academia interface is maintained through the IIPC (Industry Institute Partnership Cell of the institute.”

Any suggestions you would like to give to the current youth and the aspiring students?

“Always follow the principle of connect, upgrade and follow the passion”

CUP's concept (Connections, Upgrade, and Passion) would suggest the current youths and aspiring students. The connection is one of the buzzwords of corporate language. The only difference between a primary and a secondary source of information is that you can ask the former, but the latter would not respond.

Connections with people would always fetch you a wealth of information. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, connections can always help you to leg up the ladder of growth. Smart leveraging of the contacts through social media platforms would undoubtedly enrich one's career. Upgrading is one of the necessities for survival. In parlance with the increasing challenges of the business environment, change and enhancement of professional and intellectual skills need the hour. To avoid alarm and become a change agent, you need to upgrade with the current environmental needs. To pursue Passion is what most people overlook in this rat race. In organizations, employees are often asked to rethink the pursuit of passion, knowing that they can do it at work or outside. Craft your job to allow for more time for non-work passions, if any. While pursuing a passion outside work, you may foster collective pride participation because these will bring best selves top work.
