What are the key factors that keep you connected with the education sector?

“Contributing to the nation with best”

I believe if we wish to bring about a significant change in the society it can be done with the major contribution coming from the education sector. Teaching is one area which I passionately indulge in. Interacting with the students, answering their queries relevant and irrelevant is something which I love doing and this alone has kept me bonded for so many years. I am a kind of leader who takes everyone along and achieves the goal.

How do you strategize the key plans for the administration of your Institute?

“Good word of mouth and related activities”

As far as marketing plans are concerned, we tend to rely on building good relations with the schools in the vicinity of our campus focusing on positive word of mouth. We also have an exclusive social media in-charge to showcase all the activities of the Institute. Apart from me being the Director, there is a good administrative and marketing team who takes care of each and every detail of the Institute and ensures smooth conduct of the same by the fulfilment of proformas on an everyday basis of all essential services. Print media and direct marketing means are also undertaken.

How does the curriculum of KAIM ensure the best practice of industry?

“Skill-based and practical learning opportunities”

KAIM is affiliated to M.D. University, Rohtak which is an A+ NAAC accredited University and has a vast curriculum designed by academicians of excellent repute and knowledge. It ensures the all round development of management graduates and provides them all the relevant skills and knowledge for a better real world experience. Also, we have provisions for internships, training programmes and seminars where students can participate and acknowledge the industrial practices.

What do you think your roles and responsibilities to the students are?

“Holistic development approaches and good learning atmosphere”

The prime responsibility I have is to ensure the overall development of the students which includes excellence in academics and also the personality development with focus on learning new things apart from the syllabus. I always try to inculcate good learning practices and academic activities, besides the very serene environment for students to learn in the best possible manner.

What do you think should be the Institute’s top priority over the next 10 years?

“Ensuring best standards of education”

The Institute has to maintain the strength of good faculty and staff members which is the core strength of any institute. Dissemination of knowledge with prioritising on good quality and undertaking all activities for the benefit and development of the students are our topmost priorities. We aspire to give the best to the students and make them ready to take challenges and emerge as winners. We also have plans to tie up with top international institutes to facilitate skill development of our students and also have exchange programs so that mutual benefits accrue.

What would you like people to know about your Institute they may not know?

“A good track record with affordable education”

KAIM is one the pioneer institutes offering exclusive management courses. We have the maximum Gold Medallists of the M.D. University and also the highest population of meritorious students passing out every year making us proud of their achievements. The family boasts of KAIM alumni who are donning the mantles of corporates and academics, and has a very wide base. Also, the Institute maintains a corpus fund to sponsor students who are academically brilliant but cannot afford higher studies. Moreover, the campus is sufficiently spaced and proves to be a perfect place to learn away from the hustle bustle of metro cities amidst the beautiful nature and greenery.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see for higher education?

“Introducing bigger aspects of value based education”

The biggest challenge for the education sector is to enhance the value of education and also the values of the students. We need to make the students realise that earning money has to be balanced with due focus on ethics and concern for the society. Imparting knowledge with the perspective of students who want to become self-dependent or an entrepreneur, running businesses successfully or in the area of academics is still a challenge for our education system.
