Dr. Rajagopala Nair has been working as the Dean of Bhavan's Royal Institute of Management, Kochi, Kerala. He has done M.Com, LLB, MBA and PhD as part of his academics. He has an amazing 42 years of teaching experience and 14 years of experience in the Administrative domain. Till date, he has organised 6 national seminars and 39 guest talks in addition to several orientation programs, corporate readiness programs, grooming sessions, pre-placement training and mentoring sessions for students. He has also received the Fellowship of International Association of Accounting Professionals (IAAP-UK), in 2015. He has published 45 Research Articles in various journals and magazines and has presented 29 Research Papers in various national seminars. And we do offer internships to them every semester in addition to assigning live projects in order to educate them about industrial development, demands and working. Apart from this, we do have an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre who regularly assign Entrepreneurial projects to strengthen students' technical skills and help them to build new one. Last but not the least, social projects are conducted on a regular basis by the Rotaract Club and Eco-Club of our institute.

When you joined this college, what was your vision for it and how are you trying to achieve the same?

When I joined this college, my main objective at that time was to make my students technically proficient by enhancing their skills and making them mentally, emotionally and ethically strong. And I firmly believe that the holistic development of students can be ensured through managerial competency development sessions, rigorous industry interactions, alumni tutoring resources, guest lecture series, social outreach and wellness programmes, hence I use these same approaches in my college also to make my vision turn into reality.
