Dr. Bamini Rajasekharan is the Director in MBA at the Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science. She has more than 26 years’ experience in Academic and Administrative capacities. She became an external examiner for Institutional and Program Accreditation for the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority, Muscat, and Oman. Dr. Bamini also worked as Assistant Director, Quality Assurance and Projects at SNS Group of Institutions, Quality Assurance Expert, and Head of the Business Studies Department. Her specializations are in Strategic Planning, Program and Curriculum Development, Establishing QA systems, Portfolio and Self-study documents for accreditation. She acted as the Panel member for Accreditation of Oman Tourism College in March 2019.

One of our priorities is the learning process and we support students to meet their goals. We promote a sustainable learning environment on campus with high standards. Our campus consists of accurate and consistent policies that integrate with several cultures. What plans are you currently designing for students in Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science? 

“Focus on technology learning and diversity of programs on campus”

We are articulating to start programs as per the requirements of NEP as our programs already focus on industry needs and exceptional quality in subjects. Another focus is on market-driven programs, support and services at any time. Our campus begins to impart technology-enabled learning and provide extraordinary experiences for students. The mentor sessions improve the industry knowledge of pupils.

How do you establish a healthy relationship in college?

“To develop a cooperative environment through teaching and learning activities and peer discussion”

Our teachers raise the learning experiences with students inside and outside the classroom. One of the responsibilities of the campus is to increase classroom development at every time. A classroom environment boosts the corporate and communal atmosphere on campus. 

What is the top priority of Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science for the next 10 years?

A lifetime of learning is achieved through diverse college cultures. We decided to improve the learning methods and strategies for students' progress. One of our top priorities is an excellent academic curriculum and it raises education access. We assist in delivering good quality content for pupils and decide to increase coordination with other campuses. 

How do you bring a practical approach towards subjects as industry-oriented?

“Implement latest industry trends in curriculum, provide internships and project-based learning for students”

We involve industry in the curriculum and ensure industry engagements with students. The latest trends industry provided in subjects and sessions from industry experts are provided to students. Students on our campus get projects and internships. It leads them to engage with real-life scenarios and prepare for their future. 

How do you strategize the curriculum for the students in Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science?

“Provide real-time projects, Community-based research, and certification courses”

Our curriculum gives priority to industry needs through Industry-academia partnerships and by doing so students get vast learning opportunities. They get various Live projects, internships and problem-based learning. Moreover, we give industry sessions and certification courses for jobs. Additional certificates are available to them along with the curriculum and it is upgraded each year. 

What is your vision for Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science?

“To develop students' skills and foster innovative ideas on campus”

One of my visions is to provide innovative ideas and develop the skills of students. I am always finding a new teaching method for pupils and it gives ideas that x they can implement outside the classroom as well. Real-world applications are given to them and they get high standard of education.
