Dr Bhuvnesh Sharma is the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Vivekananda Institute of Technology, Jaipur. He received his B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering) in 2010 from Government Engineering College Ajmer, M.Tech (Industrial and Management Engineering) in 2014 and Ph.D. in 2020 from NIT, Jamshedpur. He has more than 4 years of teaching experience. His active areas of research are Nonlinear dynamics, Nanofluid and non-Newtonian fluid flow analysis with heat transfer. He has life membership of various professional bodies i.e. Society of Automotive Engineers, American Society of Mechanical Engineers, IEEE. He has published numerous research papers and book chapters in SCI/SCOPUS indexed international journals and international conferences.

What is the program that you are offering in your institute for students' benefit?

“NPTEL training courses and educational resources from Coursera, Edex, etc”

The institute offers an NPTEL (National Program on Technical Enhanced Learning) program where students can learn the subjects from the expert faculties of IIT and IISC. Students can use this program for higher studies and GATE. A list of industries considers the NPTEL course certificate. NPTEL also shares the toppers’ list to those industries for the recruitment process. The students who score 20 credits under NPTEL courses, will get B. Tech Honors degree. Also, The institute provides online credentials to students for online learning platforms such as Coursera, Edex, etc. The lectures on these online platforms are developed by top universities and industry partners.
