Eligibility for B. Tech. in Electrical & Communication Engineering 

Students who are interested in pursuing the course, need to fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria:

They should have passed 10th and 12th from a recognized board, with a minimum aggregate score of 45% for General category and 40% for students belonging to SC/ST category.

Candidates should have cleared senior secondary level examination (12th), with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Technical Vocational Subject, with an aggregate score, as mentioned earlier.

The general admission procedure for allocating seats to eligible candidates is on the basis of marks scored in JEE MAINS entrance examination, conducted at State Level by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and the subsequent rounds of group discussion and personal interview.

In the group discussion round, candidates are selected on the basis of their general awareness and eventually in the personal interview round candidate’s aptitude for the course is assessed.
