The college offers B.Tech, B.Pharm, B.Sc, BCA, BHMCT, BBA & PharmD courses in different disciplines in full-time mode along with B.Tech in Lateral Entry mode. Whereas B.Ed, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc, M.Pharm, M.Com courses in various streams are offered at PG level. 

CGC UG & PG Admission 2023-24: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the UG and PG courses are required to meet the requisite eligibility criteria. 

Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses:

• Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following subjects - Computer Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Biology. 

Eligibility Criteria for PG Courses:

• Candidate's holding a BE/ B.Tech degree are mandatory for M.Tech admission while a relevant Bachelor’s degree holder can apply for other PG courses.

CGC UG & PG Admission 2023-24: Selection Process

• Candidate's selection to the B.Tech programme is offered on the basis of JEE Main score and Marks in the 10+2 followed by PTU counselling to Punjab domicile and other state candidates respectively. 
• Candidate's selection to the B.Pharm Programme will be done based on both JEE Main and PTU CET. 
• For other undergraduate courses, a candidate's admission is entirely merit-based.
• GATE qualified candidates are eligible for admission to M.Tech. Apart from GATE, PTU also conducts separate counselling on the basis of marks in BE/ B.Tech. 
• Candidates will have to qualify in Punjab MET to secure admission in MBA.
• Candidate's selection to other PG courses is based on merit list drawn with respect to candidates ‘ marks in the last qualifying examination. 

CGC UG & PG Admission 2023-24: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official application portal of CGC @www.cgc.edu.in.

Step 2: Register yourself after filling the required details, such as Mobile number, Email Id etc.

Step 3: Now, login with your registration credentials and fill all details in the Application form.

Step 4: Pay the application fee and submit the Application form. 

Step 5: Applicants must also take a print out of the form for all future needs.
