This type of leadership style helps me to build a culture of trust through guidance, consensus building and listening.

What are some of the biggest challenges you see, both for higher education in general and for AIMT?

"Lack of infrastructure, quality education and ever changing technology makes the learning process difficult for students"

With more mechanized, digitized and fluid labor markets, the higher education system of today is rapidly becoming incompatible with the future we anticipate. While the majority of conversations over the future of education center on the skills required for the future and the necessity of reskilling, it is equally vital to consider the inevitable structural changes in higher education. Here are the key challenges we are facing with respect to higher education.

  • Private colleges charge hefty fees and solicit donations.
  • Students receive theoretical knowledge, yet there's a skills gap in many sectors.
  • Prevalence of the Quota System.
  • Lack of research opportunities.
  • Lack of quality education
  • Learning new technology and enterprise models.
  • Changing requirements and anticipations of the student-consumer.
  • Poor infrastructure is another concern for higher education systems, especially public institutes.

What would you like people to know about your college?
