Mrs. Tazkia Fatima Gupta is the Director of Institute of Productivity and Management. She has done her schooling from Sheiling House School Kanpur. She completed her BCom from Christ Church College and did an Office Automation Course along with graduation. After Graduation, she pursued her PGDM degree from Gaur Hari Singhania Management Institute. She has a teaching experience of 2 years and then she worked for Danik Jagran for 2.5 years in the Brand Development Department. For the last 10 years she has been working with the Institute of Productivity and Management.She enjoy interacting with students

The education sector is a chosen industry where we groom future leaders 

I have been working in the education sector for the past 12 years. My contribution can’t be compared to what this vertical has given to me and contributed towards my upliftment and betterment. My career commenced as a teacher of Mathematics and English. I enjoyed interaction with the students. Being the Director I have realized the importance of essential learnings and preaching to the students. Also, we should adapt with the change.Education is one of the industries that help us to work for our country’s future. Education is the silent weapon by which we can change the future of our country.

We have to keep our motivation level up to frame an effective teamwork

The education industry demands regular updations and hard work, which are to be proven in the form of track records. As the flagbearer there comes responsibilities to lead the organization, satisfy the students, their parents, and the people around you. We have to keep the motivation level up and to frame effective teamwork. For me, teamwork matters the most. It is an essential part of an organization that holds the utmost importance. Every classroom or community as a teacher or a leader has its unique community; as a teacher or a leader, it is our responsibility to assist every individual to develop their potential and learning styles.

We assess the abilities of the students from the scratch to work upon them to create better individuals

We begin from scratch i.e. we deep dive into their personality, thinking, attitude, abilities, etc. This helps us to assess their scales and how we can work upon them to make them better individuals. We believe in holistic development and we continuously try to improve the capabilities students already have and also help them to learn more every day.

IPM always promotes innovative thinking which leads to the development of society. If a person lacks in their vision or doesn’t have any vision in their lives they cannot succeed. Hence, IPM always tries that every student first has some vision they want to achieve and then work for it. Therefore, we try to make students versatile to face numerous challenges. Keeping all this in mind, we have planned our curriculum.

Multiculturalism is the idea of promoting and accepting the different opinions among the people. Diversity is about recognizing and respecting these differences to create an all-inclusive atmosphere. In IPM we try to make students good human beings, not racist. We welcome every student equally without any difference. We have set clear rules about how people should be treated. There are various activities to challenge any kind of negative thoughts. We also ensure that every student has equal access to every opportunity and facility.

Placements does not hold paramount importance, there are many other matters of grave concern

I do believe that employment is an important aspect, but it is not the only thing to achieve in life. We should always work for what makes us happy, satisfied, and complete. Money is not everything. Apart from academics, we have various cultural and sports activities that help students to stay motivated and work with full efficiency. We help students with various courses that may enhance their skills and make them ready to explore new opportunities in their life. 

We are learning from our failures in the past to work with more efficiency and effectiveness

To work with more efficiency and effectiveness is what we look upon. The feat can be achieved by improving year after year and learning from our mistakes. Our top priority will be to produce the best lot of students who will work towards the benefit of our country and not only for themselves. We want to disseminate awareness in the students about their future and not just focus on education as a whole.
