How is HRM different from the other business courses?

“HRM involves dynamics of team building and dealing with motivational aspects”

Humans are the most complex to manage but are essential constituents of any business. HRM, therefore, is crucial for the success of any business. HRM courses involve understanding the dynamics of team building and dealing with motivational aspects of the workforce. The course objective is/are 

(1) Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of employee recruitment, selection, and retention plans and processes.

It is challenging to develop the interpersonal skill set necessary for students in their professional life in any of the domains.

Case studies, situation building, and team dynamics games are a few of the techniques used to get practical exposure. What is the future scope for students in HRM from IILM?

“We are prepared for the futuristic developments and challenges”

Depending upon students' aptitude and interest, a course from IILM on HRM ensures HRM pupils get well placed in the industry. Students have been absorbed in a package upto ten lacs. But more or less, because of the pandemic, the future of HRM would see a paradigm shift. IILM is very well placed to meet the futuristic challenges.


What approach do you have for placement of the students of your courses?

“Students are prepared to bag excellent placement offers”

I am not directly connected with the placement. But I ensure that students are trained on the art of appearing for interviews smartly. Students are encouraged to speak up on HR issues and are subjected to personality grooming. So, indirectly I contribute towards good placements of our students.


What suggestions would you like to give to the youth regarding their higher studies?

“Students should make wise career decisions”

The student should by now understand the importance of management studies for successful career building. Higher Studies in management boost students’ employability and improves his/her chances of excelling in professional life, irrespective of their domain. One must strive to expose to practical learning aspects and join courses that boost one’s career prospects.
